This weekend we honor those who didn\u2019t make it home.\u00a0It\u2019s not hard.\u00a0Neither is recognizing the difference between felonies and misdemeanors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Gascon has been widely criticized over a policy barring his deputy district attorneys from seeking cash bail\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/mothers-recall-los-angeles-da-george-gascon-does-not-care-about-victims\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u>particularly from families of victims of a crime surge<\/u><\/a>\u00a0that has plagued Los Angeles in recent years.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, Gascon\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/la-county-george-gascon-bail\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\"><u>rolled back that policy<\/u><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter listening to the community, victims and members of this Office, I have decided to allow limited exceptions to the pre-trial release policy while such a program is finalized,\u201d a memo circulated through his office states.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<div class=\"embed-wrapper twitter\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Are you a ghost?
