Luntz is the author of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.amazon.com\/Words-That-Work-What-People\/dp\/1401309291\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">book<\/a> &#8220;Words That Work: It&#8217;s Not What You Say, It&#8217;s What People Hear.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Some on social media pounced in response to his suggested language shift.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Yeet this fraudster into the sea,&#8221; Ben Domenech <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/bdomenech\/status\/1529877720229871617\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tweeted<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Is Frank all right?&#8221; Mark Davis <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MarkDavis\/status\/1529961764393189376\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">tweeted<\/a>. &#8220;&#8216;Gun safety&#8217; is taken. It&#8217;s a term referring to safe handling and operation of your gun. We can call #guncontrol a pepperoni pizza if everybody wants to.
