This rumor stems from a website that publishes \u201chumor, parody, and satire.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Baldwin discharged a prop firearm during the production of the movie \u201cRust\u201d in October 2021, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and wounding director Joel Souza, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.pbs.org\/newshour\/arts\/alec-baldwin-sued-by-family-of-cinematographer-killed-on-rust-set\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">PBS News<\/a>. The actor claimed while he did point the weapon at Hutchins, the prop went off by itself, the outlet reported.<\/p>\n<p>An image shared on Facebook claims the actor has now been sentenced to death.
