Disinformation Governance Board, otherwise known as the \u201cMinistry of Truth.\u201d<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Senators sent a<a href=\"https:\/\/www.scribd.com\/document\/575457283\/Hawley-Letter-to-Mayorkas-Disinformation-Board-origins?secret_password=UVTUZyaNTgW6UOfp741q\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> joint letter<\/a> Monday to DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas noting:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe write to request immediate access to all records and communications related to the Department of Homeland in stealth<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The letter went on:<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cWe are therefore demanding transparency into the Department\u2019s decision-making process so that we can learn why the Department ever thought creating a disinformation board would be a good idea.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>It also takes aim at Mayorkas for testifying that he had no idea about the \u201clong history of partisan public statements\u201d of Nina Jankowicz, the person who the DHS head placed in charge of the disinformation scheme.<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cOn May 4, 2022, you testified before the Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee about the creation of this new board and accepted sole responsibility for appointing Nina Jankowicz as its Executive Director,\u201d the letter notes.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cSurprisingly, you testified that you were not aware of her long history of partisan public statements.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<figure title=\"The Senators who put their Board;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>b. the agenda or minutes from any meeting at which the Board\u2019s formation was discussed;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>c. any legal review to determine whether the activities of the Board would be authorized by the Constitution of the United States;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>d. any communications or records about the individuals who would be recruited to serve on the Board;<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>e. any communications concerning the appointment of an executive director for the Board; and<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>f. any communications with the White House about the formation of the Board or appointment of officials to serve on the Board.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The Senators who put their names to the letter are Josh Hawley (MO), Rick Scott (FL), Rand Paul (KY), Ron exposed, with some warning that the scheme likely will return in stealth.<\/p>\n<p>Mayorkas has picked former DHS Secretary Michael Chertoff to replace the thoroughly compromised Jankowicz and to lead a \u201cthorough review\u201d of the scheme.<\/p>\n<p>Jankowicz has claimed her controversial taxpayer-funded\u00a0<em>&#8220;Ministry of Truth&#8221;<\/em>\u00a0was shut down because of\u00a0<em>&#8220;disinformation.&#8221;<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Jankowicz and her\u00a0<em>&#8220;Disinformation Governance Board&#8221;<\/em>\u00a0were taken to the woodshed by the Biden administration
