What are we doing? Because we\u2019re \u2013 why are we always at square one with this?\u201d Goldberg echoed Murphy\u2019s question. \u201cAnd I swear to God, if I see another Republican senator talk about their heart being broken, I\u2019m going to punch somebody.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI can\u2019t take any \u2014 thoughts and prayers. If your thoughts and prayers really were with everybody, you would have done something by now,\u201d Goldberg insisted, adding, \u201cWhat the hell is going on?<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want them to stop gaslighting me also,\u201d co-host Joy Behar added. \u201cStop saying it\u2019s not guns that kill people. It\u2019s people that kill people. It\u2019s guns that kill people, okay? Stop saying the opposite.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Behar went on to say that it wasn\u2019t about mental illness either, arguing that there was mental illness in other countries but there were not mass shootings.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s mental illness in every country in the world, and they don\u2019t have this problem. So stop gaslighting me on that one, and stop saying that you can have a good guy stop a bad guy with a gun,\u201d Behar continued. \u201cWe have seen in both of these shootings in the past three weeks that a good guy tried and could not do it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWas murdered for it.\u201d Goldberg interjected.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cStop gaslighting us,\u201d Behar repeated.<\/p>\n<p>The shooter at Robb Elementary School was <a href=\"https:\/\/dailywire.com\/news\/border-patrol-agent-rushed-into-texas-school-and-killed-shooter-without-waiting-for-backup\/\">ultimately stopped<\/a> by a \u201cgood guy with a gun\u201d \u2014 in the form of a border patrol agent who reportedly rushed into the school while the shooter was engaged with local police.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">NEW: Border Patrol sources tell me an elite BORTAC Border Patrol agent is believed to have shot and killed the gunman at Robb Elementary School today. I\u2019m told he entered with a tactical team while TX LEOs were engaged w\/ barricaded shooter.
