Instead of showing the new content, the network aired a rerun in its place. It\u2019s unclear when the finale will air.<\/p>\n<p>CBS did move forward with airing season finales of \u201cFBI: Most Wanted\u201d and \u201cFBI: International\u201d on Tuesday as those shows did not involve storylines with minors.<\/p>\n<p>The synopsis for the postponed episode reads: \u201cAs the team investigates a deadly robbery that garnered a cache of automatic weapons for the killers, they discover one of the perps is a classmate of Jubal\u2019s son, who is reluctant to cooperate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFBI\u201d is a Dick Wolf-produced show that premiered in 2018. The series stars Missy Peregrym, Zeeko Zaki, Jeremy Sisto, Alana De La Garza, John Boyd, and Katherine Renee Turner. The fast-paced drama explores the inner workings of the New York office of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.<\/p>\n<p>Fans will have to wait a little longer to see the season 4 finale \u201cProdigal Son.\u201d The network chose to delay airing the latest episode after Texas Republican Governor Greg Abbott confirmed multiple fatalities, including young children, Tuesday evening.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>By Tuesday evening the death toll climbed from 15 to at least 20, The Daily Wire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/breaking-death-toll-from-texas-elementary-school-shooting-continues-to-climb\">reported<\/a>. This horrific incident began when an 18-year-old male suspect conducted a mass murder at Robb Elementary in the city of Uvalde, which is approximately 85 miles west of San Antonio and has a population of roughly 16,000 people.<\/p>\n<p>The shooting left at least 16 students and 3 adults dead. The gunman was also killed by a Border Patrol agent who rushed into the school without waiting for backup.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTexans across the state are grieving for the victims of this senseless crime and for the community of Uvalde,\u201d Governor Abbott said in a statement. \u201cCecilia and I mourn this horrific loss and we urge all Texans to come together to show our unwavering support to all who are suffering.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe thank the courageous first responders who worked to finally secure Robb Elementary School,\u201d he continued. \u201cI have instructed the Texas Department of Public Safety and the Texas Rangers to work with local law enforcement to fully investigate this crime.
