Wade<\/em>. But a dark cloud looms over their hopeful victory \u2014 a \u201cSummer of Rage\u201d and protesting promised by pro-abortion activists.<\/p>\n<p>Panicked and angry, abortion supporters <a href=\"https:\/\/www.reuters.com\/world\/us\/us-abortion-rights-activists-start-summer-rage-with-saturday-protests-2022-05-14\/\">announced this<\/a> \u201cSummer of Rage\u201d following the leak of a draft opinion indicating that the justices are preparing to overturn <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em>. These abortion advocates kicked off protests with a \u201cBans off Our Bodies\u201d demonstration, largely led by the Women\u2019s March, on May 14.<\/p>\n<p>Abortion groups nationally have called for a large-scale backlash to the momentous news, including protesting at the homes of Supreme Court Justices and even in Catholic masses.\u00a0Around the country, pro-life clinics and centers have reported vandalism, threats, and violence, and a May 13 Department of Homeland Security (DHS)\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/pro-abortion-extremists-threaten-to-burn-down-storm-supreme-court-murder-justices-government-memo-reveals\">memo\u00a0revealed<\/a> that government officials are investigating threats to the justices, the clerks, to places of worship, and to abortion clinics.<\/p>\n<p>But pro-life leaders who spoke with The Daily Wire expressed confidence in their ability to continue to serve mothers and babies, and promised to conduct themselves with dignity in the face of any anger or vitriol.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will not be intimidated or silenced to stop working for the day when both moms and babies are given full dignity, protection, and support,\u201d said Jeanne Mancini, who heads the massive March for Life annually in Washington, D.C., on the anniversary of <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Activists have been working and praying for nearly 50 years for <em>Roe<\/em> to be overturned, Mancini said, emphasizing that the March for Life is \u201ccommitted to restoring a culture of life in our country,\u201d and that her organization \u201ccondemns violence of any form, including violence in the womb, and on the contrary witnesses to the beauty of life through loving, peaceful protests.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The pro-life Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) is urging authorities to \u201cuphold the law and protect free speech, the right to peaceably assemble and also the homes and offices of pro-life individuals and groups,\u201d according to SBA List\u2019s Vice President of communications,\u00a0Mallory Carroll.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAbortion is violence against the unborn and their mothers,\u201d she said. \u201cIt is not surprising that this hostility would spill over toward those who advocate for life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>SBA List will answer calls for a \u201cSummer of Rage\u201d with \u201ca continuation of our service to mothers and their children,\u201d Carroll said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur movement is more committed than ever to building the pro-life safety net, supporting our pregnancy centers and meeting the needs of women and families, walking alongside them with love,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>On a sunny Monday morning in the nation\u2019s capitol, a small group of pro-life activists gathered outside the Supreme Court in hopes that the court would release its decision in the case pertaining to <em>Roe<\/em>, <em>Dobbs vs. Jackson Women\u2019s Health Organization<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>No decision came, but Concerned Women for America\u2019s Penny Nance remained hopeful as she discussed the impending decision with The Daily Wire outside the court.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe already have been working very hard for alternatives to abortion for the past 50 years,\u201d she said, emphasizing that this summer will<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>WASHINGTON \u2014 Pro-life activists are eagerly anticipating a long-awaited Supreme Court decision overturning Roe v.
