In practice, the WHO is given a massive increase in power and funding, and much authority for pandemic control risks being lost by nations themselves and transferred to WHO.<\/p>\n<p>Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voanews.com\/a\/us-supports-creation-of-global-pandemic-treaty-\/6334602.html\">first publicly voiced<\/a> support for an international agreement on future pandemic preparedness in November of last year.<\/p>\n<p>Thus far Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has been publicly leading the charge against it at the state level, stating at a recent press conference that there\u2019s no way his state would be supporting the treaty.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe in Florida, there is no way we will ever support this WHO thing \u2026 that\u2019s not going to happen. No way.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou saw a lot of these elites advocate very pernicious policies\u201d he added, making note of the fact that \u201cpart of the reason people want to move here is because we rejected those policies, but they advocated very pernicious policies, including locking kids out of school.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>At the federal level, Senators Marco Rubio and Rep.
