Me?\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n<p>In a follow-up tweet, Wilson claimed Trump witnesses would \u201cfilibuster, bulls***, evade and jerk themselves off on live TV\u201d in an attempt to stonewall the hearings.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">2\/ Does no one understand the ballgame here?<\/p>\n<p>The witnesses from the Trump world will filibuster, bullshit, evade and jerk themselves off on live TV for roughly 40% of the hearings. Narrative<\/h3>\n<p>Reports back in April indicated Thompson and the committee were prepared to hold <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/january-6-committee-hearings-june\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">eight public hearings<\/a> on the January 6th riot at the Capitol.<\/p>\n<p>So, according to the sources involved, this would be a streamlining of the attempts by the committee to influence opinions of what happened that day.<\/p>\n<p>Aside from having the goal of telling the American people what to think, the June hearings will allow time for a full report to be released just in time for the midterm elections.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe panel \u2026 plans to release a full report about the deadly attack on the Capitol in early fall,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/january-6-committee-hearings-june\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CBS News<\/a> reported at the time.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Similar to Thompson\u2019s comments, committee member Jamie Raskin (D-MD) said the public hearings would be divided into chapters \u201cthat will allow for the unfolding of the narrative.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As any good work of fiction would.<\/p>\n<p>Raskin, of course, never was the subject of a public hearing about trying to overturn election results, despite objecting to counting electoral votes back in 2016.<\/p>\n<blockquote \u201ccommittee attorneys will simultaneously flash texts, photos and videos to illustrate the testimony\u201d during these public hearings.<\/p>\n<p>This will be interesting since this same House Select committee <a href=\"https:\/\/thepoliticalinsider.com\/january-6-select-committee-admits-to-doctoring-text-message-presented-by-adam-schiff-as-evidence\/\" target=\"_blank\"
