None of those charges involved a firearm. Floyd did not die of gunshot wounds.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\"><\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/breaking-andy-ngo-reaches-1-million-followers-on-twitter-despite-antifa-attacks-censorship\">Andy Ngo<\/a> pointed out the mistake. &#8220;WaPo writes that George Floyd &#8216;was shot &#038; killed in police custody.&#8217;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>&#8220;He was never shot. He died of cardiopulmonary arrest,&#8221; Ngo tweeted at the <em>Washington Post. <\/em>He cited <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/medical-examiner-believes-george-floyds-fentanyl-level-was-at-a-fatal-level\">official autopsy results<\/a> in which the medical examiner stated at the time: &#8220;The autopsy revealed no physical evidence suggesting that Mr. Floyd died of asphyxiation.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>Floyd, however, was not shot. <\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<figure class=\"kg-card kg-embed-card\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">WaPo writes that George Floyd &#8220;was shot &#038; killed in police custody.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>He was never shot. (@MrAndyNgo) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MrAndyNgo\/status\/1528926438447009794?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 24, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>The tweet from <em>WaPo<\/em> was in reference to a poll that newspaper has put out to gauge public reaction and changes to people&#8217;s lives since and as a result of George Floyd&#8217;s death.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>The poll asks for photos from &#8220;your participation in the protests,&#8221; and asks questions like &#8220;How have or haven&#8217;t things changed in your community since George Floyd&#8217;s death?&#8221; and &#8220;Did you participate in the protests that followed George Floyd&#8217;s death?&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>After the error was made plain, <em>WaPo <\/em>wrote: &#8220;We&#8217;ve deleted a previous tweet for this form that included language that was changed after publish.&#8221; [sic]\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>Ngo suggested that the news outlet identify the mistake that they made, and perhaps give an explanation as to why they would have written, both on Twitter and in the pixels of their pages, that Floyd was shot and killed by police.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<figure class=\"kg-card kg-embed-card\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Why don&#8217;t you explain how you were wrong &#038; apologize?
