In second place is Congressman Mo Brooks (R-AL) with 25%, and in third sits Mike Durant with 24%. Another poll <a href=\"https:\/\/www.wtok.com\/2022\/05\/19\/katie-britt-gov-kay-ivey-lead-exclusive-new-gray-tvala-daily-news-poll\/\">indicates<\/a> that Britt\u2019s lead may only be 31% to Brooks\u2019 29% with Durant receiving 24% of the vote.<\/p>\n<p>Brooks had previously had the endorsement of former President Donald Trump, but he yanked that support after Brooks told his followers to move on from the presidential election. Britt in turn has been marketing herself as the true \u201cAmerica First\u201d candidate.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNot only am I the only candidate in the race who\u2019s actually voted for the president every single time he\u2019s been on the ballot, but also I\u2019ve had the opportunity to work on the America First agenda. I understand it. I know what it means,\u201d Britt <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/senate-candidate-katie-britt-message-disaster-joe-biden-alabama-primary-election-game-on\">claimed<\/a> in a recent interview with Fox News.<\/p>\n<p>Britt added that she has relayed to Trump why she\u2019s \u201cthe best candidate to advance the America First agenda.\u201d The Alabama frontrunner is also\u00a0clearly making this a campaign against President Joe Biden\u2019s record.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEveryone has seen that our country was moving in the right direction under President Trump, and now under Joe Biden it is a disaster.
