Apparently my 2 yr old knows how to order doordash,\u201d she captioned the photo.<\/p>\n<p>Golden <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2022\/05\/21\/us\/texas-toddler-mcdonalds-cheeseburger-doordash-trnd\/index.html\">explained the incident<\/a> to CNN, saying that when Barrett grabbed the phone, she hadn\u2019t been terribly concerned.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe likes to look at his reflection,\u201d she said, noting that when he has taken her phone before, he has used the camera to look at himself rather than trying to find games to play or videos to watch.<\/p>\n<p>But he didn\u2019t appear to be using the camera this time. Instead, Golden said that he \u201cstarts pressing the screen, swinging it around like his arm is a roller coaster.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Golden still was not overly worried until she got a notification from DoorDash saying that her order was taking longer than expected. Since she occasionally orders from the food delivery app for her other children when they need lunch at school, Golden called to check \u2014 and was told that they were eating the lunches she had packed for them.<\/p>\n<p>The mystery was not solved until the DoorDash driver arrived, giant McDonalds bag in hand, and announced, \u201c31 cheeseburgers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Golden told CNN that her first thought was that they had the wrong house. \u201cThen it dawned on me that Barrett was playing with my phone,\u201d she said. \u201cI went back and looked at my phone and an order was placed at that time that he was playing with my phone.\u00a0I thought, oh my gosh, he really did this.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Texas toddler stole his mother\u2019s unlocked phone to play with it, and she thought nothing of it \u2014 until the DoorDash delivery driver showed up at her home with 31 McDonalds cheeseburgers.
