The website confirmed the listing was fake and has since been removed.<\/p>\n<p><strong><span>Fact Check:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The house in question is notable for being <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=TJsPgsYbFDg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">featured<\/a> in the opening credits of \u201cFull House,\u201d a television sitcom that aired from 1987 to 1995, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0092359\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">IMDb<\/a>. The show\u2019s creator, Jeff Franklin, bought the San Francisco home in 2016 for $4 million before selling it for $5.35 million in 2020, SFGate <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sfgate.com\/realestate\/article\/SF-Full-House-house-sold-for-5-3M-15714429.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The May 18 Facebook post claims the home \u201cis back on the market for $37 million\u201d and advises users to contact the author if they are interested. \u201cHere is your chance to own a piece of TV history,\u201d the post claims.<\/p>\n<p>While the house was in fact listed on the real estate website Zillow for $37 million, the listing was fraudulent. It first appeared earlier in May and was <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kron4.com\/news\/bay-area\/full-house-house-on-sale-at-37-million\/?utm_campaign=socialflow&#038;utm_medium=referral&#038;utm_source=t.co\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported on<\/a> by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcbayarea.com\/news\/local\/san-francisco\/fraudulent-listing-mistakenly-posts-full-house-home-for-sale\/2894516\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">several<\/a> news <a href=\"https:\/\/abc30.com\/full-house-home-on-sale-37-million-back-housing-market\/11864328\/?ex_cid=TA_KFSN_TW&#038;taid=62850ea42b6470000137e5b8&#038;utm_campaign=trueAnthem:+Trending+Content&#038;utm_medium=trueAnthem&#038;utm_source=twitter\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">outlets<\/a> before the website removed the listing, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sfgate.com\/local\/article\/Full-House-home-not-for-sale-17181627.php\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">SFGate<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe discovered a \u2018For Sale By Owner\u2019 listing was illegitimate after it was posted, and have since taken it down,\u201d\u00a0a Zillow spokesperson told SFGate. \u201cWe apologize for any confusion this may have caused.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The house is still listed as sold on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.zillow.com\/homedetails\/1709-Broderick-St-San-Francisco-CA-94115\/15083084_zpid\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Zillow<\/a>. No transactions regarding the house have been made since Franklin sold the house in 2020. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/04\/29\/fact-check-image-house-caught-landslide\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Does This Image Show A Two-Story House Caught In A Landslide?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Much of the \u201cFull House\u201d original cast, including the late Bob Saget, reprised their roles in the Netflix follow-up series \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.netflix.com\/title\/80051137\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fuller House<\/a>,\u201d which aired from 2016 to 2020.
