The hosts had very different thoughts about whether this was a good or bad thing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNPR doesn\u2019t want the COVID to spread, so they\u2019re telling their people \u2018if your fellow employee\u2019s sitting there without a mask on I want to hear about it,&#8217;\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/joy-behar-is-disappointed-because-more-people-should-have-cut-spotify-over-joe-rogan\">Behar<\/a> told the panel. \u201cReport it to HR. I would never do that. I\u2019m Italian. We don\u2019t snitch. We don\u2019t snitch.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/despicable-sunny-hostin-blows-up-at-guest-host-for-defending-republican-response-to-ukraine\">Sunny Hostin<\/a> disagreed and said she thought the policy was a \u201cgood thing\u201d and explained that \u201cwe\u2019ve been terrible to each other\u201d during this pandemic. She then referenced a recent incident on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/get-the-f-out-two-time-tony-winner-goes-on-nsfw-rant-at-maskless-theatergoer\">Broadway when actress Patti LuPone<\/a> \u201chad to dress someone down\u201d because they weren\u2019t wearing their mask.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Joy Behar on NPR telling employees to report maskless colleagues to HR: &#8220;I would never do that. I\u2019m Italian. We don\u2019t snitch.&#8221;<br \/>Sunny Hostin: &#8220;I think NPR&#8217;s system is a good thing.&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/C3CxfdbXxa\">pic.twitter.com\/C3CxfdbXxa<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Wittgenstein (@backtolife_2022) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/backtolife_2022\/status\/1527687235767873536?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 20, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI just think you have this mechanism where you can just call and snitch and protect yourself as opposed to taking it on yourself,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>But CNN\u2019s Ana Navarro asked Hostin how HR would know \u201cif it\u2019s not just somebody snitching on someone they don\u2019t like?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hostin seemed surprised by the idea and said HR would have to figure it out. Abrams interjected and said \u201cI think it\u2019s ridiculous\u201d and Sarah Haines agreed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are at a different point with COVID now,\u201d the author said. \u201cWe\u2019re just not at the point we were two years ago.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Hostin seemed shocked, and argued that \u201cthe numbers are going up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYeah, but the effect on people who are vaxxed and boosted is much less significant,\u201d Abrams said.<\/p>\n<p>Hostin disagreed, and asked about those \u201cliving with people who are immunocompromised.\u201d Abrams explained that there \u201care just a ton of risks everyday.
