Other pollsters&#8217; results are comparable: A Quinnipiac University poll found that only 35 percent of Americans approve of Biden, the <i>Washington Free Beacon<\/i> <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/latest-news\/looming-reality-85-percent-of-americans-think-were-headed-for-recession-in-the-next-year\/\">reported<\/a> Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Only 2 in 10 adults say the United States is heading in the right direction, the AP reported. Just among Democrats, only 33 percent say the country is on the right track, a 16-point drop since April. Biden&#8217;s approval among Democrats has also slipped from 82 percent last year to 73 percent this month.<\/p>\n<p>Democrats told the AP they are angry with the president.<\/p>\n<p>Milan Ramsey, 29, said she and her family are &#8220;unable to afford the place where she grew up&#8221; because of skyrocketing inflation. &#8220;I don&#8217;t know how much worse it can get,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>While Ramsey doesn&#8217;t blame Biden for the economic downturn, she said the president is &#8220;tired&#8221; and &#8220;hasn&#8217;t delivered on any of the promises.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Ramsey is one of the two-thirds of Americans who disapprove of Biden&#8217;s economic performance, according to the poll.
