It\u2019s above my pay grade.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The lawyer said, \u201cIs Disney aware that Mr. Depp has testified under oath that he would not take another \u2018Pirates of the Caribbean\u2019 franchise role for $300 million and a million alpacas?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>To that, Newman answered, \u201cNo.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Heard\u2019s lawyer continued, asking if the studio was planning to \u201c[pay] Mr. Depp more than $300 million and [provide] him with more than a million alpacas to be able to obtain his services for any future \u2018Pirates of the Caribbean\u2019 role.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>To that, the Disney employee responded \u201cNo.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Depp and his lawyer Camille Vasquez were seen bent over and laughing during the exchange.<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">johnny depp and camille vasquez losing it when elaine asked if disney were paying johnny 300$ million and more than a million alpacas <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/JusticeForJohnnyDepp?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#JusticeForJohnnyDepp<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/pPe3lNeWhv\">pic.twitter.com\/pPe3lNeWhv<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 mar\u00eda (@jxnsmanager) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jxnsmanager\/status\/1527367694093533184?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 19, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span>It\u2019s not the first time a Disney employee has referenced the new \u201cPirates\u201d film. The Daily Wire previously <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/pirates-of-the-caribbean-producer-addresses-johnny-depps-potential-return\"><span>reported<\/span><\/a><span> that while speaking with The Sunday Times, producer Jerry Bruckheimer said he wasn\u2019t sure about Depp\u2019s inclusion, but there are no plans to bring him back for now.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cNot at this point. The future is yet to be decided,\u201d the producer told the Times when asked if the actor would be part of the movie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Depp brought the case against Heard largely because of lost revenue after being let go from the franchise.
