All of these states get billions for bases but barely tolerate a lot of the service members.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jacob Thomas, communications director for Common Defense, said that troops \u201ccan\u2019t be forced to live in places where they aren\u2019t seen as fully human.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In March, the U.S. Army <a href=\"https:\/\/dailywire.com\/news\/im-really-proud-were-moving-forward-u-s-armys-new-fitness-test-boasts-different-standards-for-men-and-women\/\">revealed<\/a> its new fitness test, called the Army Combat Fitness Test (ACFT), which changed requirements so that it boasts different scoring standards for men and women.<\/p>\n<p>Sergeant Major of the Army Michael Grinston, the service\u2019s top enlisted leader, declared, \u201cI\u2019m really proud we\u2019re moving forward; we\u2019re there; we\u2019re doing it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In most cases, the standards wound up lowered, \u201cfollowing a congressionally mandated report from Rand Corp, a Washington D.C.-based think tank, that found nearly half of the service\u2019s women could not pass earlier standards for the test,\u201d\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.military.com\/daily-news\/2022\/03\/23\/gendered-scoring-no-more-leg-tucks-army-unveils-new-fitness-test-heres-what-you-need-know.html\">Military.com<\/a>\u00a0reported, adding, \u201cThe most significant changes to the six-event ACFT is that it no longer is meant to prepare soldiers for combat but instead built as a general fitness assessment.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Military.com explained some differences in the expectations for men and women:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>For example, a female soldier between 17 and 21 years old now has to deadlift between 120 and 210 lbs. while a male soldier has to lift between 140 and 340 lbs.
