Lee is facing one count of attempted murder after he allegedly stabbed \u201chis roommate during a fight at a transitional housing apartment on December 2.\u201d He is due back in court in June.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, the man was charged with a misdemeanor following an on-stage attack against the superstar comedian during his performance for the \u201cNetflix Is A Joke\u201d festival.<\/p>\n<p>The D.A.\u2019s office shared that as a result of the enormous publicity involving the alleged attack on Chappelle, Lee was recently identified as the person who allegedly committed the assault previously reported to authorities.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe publicity generated by the attack on Mr. Chappelle helped police solve this crime,\u201d District Attorney George Gasc\u00f3n. \u201cThe incident that occurred at the Hollywood Bowl was misdemeanor conduct and rightfully referred to the City Attorney\u2019s Office.
