Meanwhile, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex\u2019s team would aim to have the series air in 2023.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThe timing is still being discussed, things are up in the air,\u201d one producer told the outlet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Harry and Meghan had signed a multi-million dollar deal with Netflix in 2020 but so far, fans were left disappointed in terms of new projects.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Camera crews were recently seen following the couple on their trip to the Netherlands for the Invictus Games in April. Prince Harry founded the event for wounded and injured servicemen and women in 2014. The Netflix documentary \u201cHeart of Invictus\u201d will take a deeper dive into this endeavor.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>However, the new docuseries is rumored to be way more personal than that. Page Six said that cameras were allowed inside the couple\u2019s mansion in Montecito, California, and also followed Harry and Meghan on a trip to New York City last fall.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI think it\u2019s fair to say that Netflix is getting its pound of flesh,\u201d a Hollywood insider <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/pagesix.com\/2022\/05\/18\/prince-harry-meghan-markle-at-home-docuseries-coming-to-netflix\"><span>told<\/span><\/a><span> the outlet.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>No specific details beyond those are known about what\u2019s in the series. But if it\u2019s safe to assume that the Sussexes will be more open than the rest of the royal family, who are notoriously private. They already shared more than other royals while discussing their feelings with Oprah during a bombshell interview in March 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>At least one Sussex-related project with Netflix was already canceled, as The Daily Wire <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/pretending-to-be-a-duchess-wont-buy-her-any-favors-netflix-cancels-meghan-markle-series-purportedly-based-on-her-own-life\"><span>previously reported<\/span><\/a><span>. The animated series \u201cPearl\u201d was supposedly going to be partially based on Meghan\u2019s life.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The couple\u2019s media company Archewell Productions first announced \u201cPearl\u201d in August 2021.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The press release said, \u201cLike many girls her age, our heroine Pearl is on a journey of self-discovery as she tries to overcome life\u2019s daily challenges.
