The Forces spoke on Capitol Hill Wednesday alongside Republican Colorado Rep. Doug Lamborn, who introduced the Taylor Force Martyr Payment Prevention Act in 2022 and the previous 2018 Taylor Force Act, both of which seek to prevent aid to the PA\u2019s \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/lamborn.house.gov\/media\/press-releases\/congressman-lamborn-introduces-legislation-targeting-palestinian-pay-slay\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">pay to slay<\/a>\u201d program. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/02\/doocy-psaki-spar-terrorists-southern-border\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: \u2018What Is The President\u2019s Priority?\u2019: Doocy And Psaki Spar Over Terrorists Crossing The Southern Border)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t understand the reasoning behind resuming the payments. If they even knew half of what we realized just in the last six years that when money leaves the United States, you have no idea where it\u2019s going,\u201d Stuart Force told TheDCNF. \u201cAnd if we can\u2019t account for it \u2026 then don\u2019t send it until you can make sure that it is going to accomplish the humanitarian needs. This just totally boggles the mind that there aren\u2019t safeguards to make sure it is being used wisely. And that\u2019s the purpose of the Taylor Force Act and the martyr payment prevention.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The PA continues to make such payments as the Biden administration continues to provide aid to the PA, <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/national-security\/how-the-palestinians-pay-terrorists-as-biden-pumps-millions-of-aid-dollars-into-their-government\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">according<\/a> to The Washington Free Beacon, citing a non-public State Department report. In response, Lamborn introduced the latest bill to prevent foreign banks from facilitating the terrorist payments and putting their relationships with the U.S. financial system at stake.<\/p>\n<p>The Biden administration\u2019s reported latest move is potentially at odds with the previously passed Taylor Force Act, which conditions U.S. aid on the Palestinian leadership ending terrorist payments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI hope this administration is aware of what is going on,\u201d Robbi Force told TheDCNF.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_7432235\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\">\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-7432235\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Jennie Taer\/\/The Daily Caller News Foundation<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>If the Biden administration continues to make payments despite the pressure, they could be an \u201caccessory\u201d to the terrorist payment programs, Republican Texas Rep. Louie <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/02\/09\/louie-gohmert-claims-biden-doj-inspecting-constituent-mail\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gohmert<\/a>, who\u2019s a co-sponsor of Lamborn\u2019s latest bill, told TheDCNF.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo the question is, is this a knowing act by the administration? We hope that the knowing act will be to sign this into law, so that we will not be accused \u2026 of being an accessory. But, once they know, once this becomes knowledge at the White House, and they refuse to do anything about it, they refuse to encourage Speaker Pelosi, leader Schumer to do anything about it, then it moves into the accessory stage. So we hopefully won\u2019t get there,\u201d Gohmert said.<\/p>\n<p>Stuart and Robbi Force told TheDCNF they are willing and ready to speak with the Biden administration if that\u2019s what is needed to stop the funding.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Biden administration is strongly opposed to the prisoner payment system and has consistently engaged the Palestinian Authority to end this practice,\u201d a State Department spokesman told The Washington Free Beacon.<\/p>\n<p>Neither the White House nor the State Department responded to TheDCNF\u2019s requests for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Content created by The Daily Caller News Foundation is available without charge to any eligible news publisher that can provide a large audience.
