Dan Bishop first asked witness <a href=\"https:\/\/avowtexas.org\/about-us\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">AVOW<\/a> executive director Aimee Arrambide how she defines a \u201cwoman.\u201d<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>AVOW is a pro-abortion non-profit organization working to secure unrestricted access to abortion for Texas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI believe that everyone can identify for themselves,\u201d Arrambide said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOk. Do you believe then that men can become pregnant and have abortions?\u201d Bishop followed up.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes,\u201d Arrambide responded.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Q: \u201cDo you believe that men can become pregnant and have abortions?\u201d \u2013<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepDanBishop?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@RepDanBishop<\/a><\/p>\n<p>A: \u201cYes.\u201d -Democrat witness <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/TfxboajSJU\">pic.twitter.com\/TfxboajSJU<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 House Judiciary GOP (@JudiciaryGOP) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JudiciaryGOP\/status\/1526983113141891073?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 18, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Bishop <a href=\"https:\/\/www.c-span.org\/video\/?520237-1\/house-judiciary-committee-examines-abortion-access-care&#038;live&#038;vod&#038;start=13072\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">also asked<\/a> reproductive healthcare Dr. Yashica Robinson, who uses \u201cshe\/her\u201d pronouns, if she could define what a \u201cwoman\u201d was prior to questioning Arrambide. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/16\/abortion-activists-march-bans-off-bodies-roe-v-wade\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: \u2018Not Just Women That Are Getting Pregnant\u2019: Abortion Activists Sound Off At \u2018Bans Off Our Bodies\u2019 March)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s important for you to understand why I said I use \u2018she\/her\u2019 pronouns,\u201d Robinson said. \u201cIt\u2019s because I understand that for people-\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Bishop then cut her off and again asked \u201cwhat is a woman?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think it\u2019s important that we educate people like you about why we\u2019re doing the things we do, and so the reason why I use \u2018she\u2019 and \u2018her\u2019 pronouns is because I understand there are people who become pregnant that may not identify that way, and I think it is discriminatory to speak to people or to call them in such a way that they desire not to be called,\u201d Robinson said.<\/p>\n<p>Bishop again asked if she was going to answer his question about the definition of a \u201cwoman.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m a woman,\u201d Robinson said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIs that as comprehensive a definition you could give me?\u201d Bishop asked.<\/p>\n<p>Robinson said that the most comprehensive definition she could provide for the time being.<\/p>\n<p>A \u201cwoman\u201d is defined as \u201can adult female person,\u201d according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.merriam-webster.com\/dictionary\/woman\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Merriam-Webster<\/a>. A female has XX chromosomes while men have XY chromosomes. Men do not. have the same reproductive organs that females have and are unable to get pregnant or receive an abortion.<\/p>\n<p>Robinson and Arrambide are not the only ones unable to provide a definition of what a \u201cwoman\u201d is. The Daily Caller reached out to every Senate Democrat to see if any of our leaders would provide a definition. Each <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/04\/04\/zero-senate-democrats-willing-define-woman\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">request was met with silence<\/a>. Only 15 Republican Senators <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/04\/08\/contacted-every-senate-republican-define-woman\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">were willing<\/a> to provide a definition of what a \u201cwoman\u201d is when questioned by the Caller.<\/p>\n<p>Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson also <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/03\/22\/judge-jackson-marsha-blackburn-woman-definition\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">dodged the question<\/a> during her hearing, telling Republican Tennessee Sen.
