The memo suggested those threats could increase after the Court issues its official ruling.<\/p>\n<p>While it warned of the potential for violent extremist acts from abortion-rights proponents in response to the ruling, DHS also said there was some threat of racist pro-life extremism, <em>Axios<\/em> reported.<\/p>\n<p>After <em>Politico<\/em>\u00a0this month released a Supreme Court draft ruling overturning <em>Roe<\/em>, abortion-rights activists targeted conservative justices, protesting outside their homes and raising concerns about violence against members of the Court.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>Washington Free Beacon<\/em> <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/courts\/house-dems-insert-poison-pill-into-emergency-bill-to-add-security-for-superme-court-justices\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> last week that House Democrats have stalled bipartisan legislation that would boost security for justices and the Supreme Court building.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Homeland Security is preparing for a wave of violence following the release of the Supreme Court&#8217;s decision in a case that could overturn Roe v.
