Wade could come from either side of the abortion debate, according to Axios, despite numerous recent attacks on pro-life groups.<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s DHS is preparing for a surge in violence following the court\u2019s final decision, and emphasized that political violence could come from both sides of the abortion debate, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2022\/05\/18\/supreme-court-abortion-roe-protests-violence?utm_source=newsletter&#038;utm_medium=email&#038;utm_campaign=newsletter_axiosam&#038;stream=top\">according<\/a> to Axios, citing an internal DHS memo. Two pro-life centers were <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/10\/pro-life-salem-oregon-molotov-cocktails-abortion-roe-v-wade\/\">firebombed<\/a> after a leaked draft opinion revealed the court would likely overturn Roe v. These threats reportedly include murder of justices and clerks, burning down or storming the Supreme Court and targeting abortion clinics and places of worship.<\/p>\n<p>The DHS memo ties pro-life extremists to racism and violence. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/09\/abortion-activists-chant-abolish-supreme-court-loss-angeles\/\">(RELATED: Abortion Activists Chant \u2018Abolish The Supreme Court\u2019)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cSome racially or ethnically motivated violent extremists\u2019 embrace of pro-life narratives may be linked to the perception of wanting to \u2018save white children\u2019 and \u2018fight white genocide,\u201d the memo said, according to Axios.<\/p>\n<p>However, the memo added that some extreme rhetoric endorsing violence is constitutionally protected free speech and not necessarily evidence of domestic terrorism.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe mere advocacy of political or social positions, political activism, use of strong rhetoric, or generalized philosophic embrace of violent tactics does not constitute domestic violent extremism or illegal activity and is constitutionally protected,\u201d the memo said, according to Axios.<\/p>\n<p>Axios claimed that most abortion-related violence comes from anti-abortion extremists while noting that attacks could still come from either side, citing the DHS memo.<\/p>\n<p>DHS did not respond to The Daily Caller News Foundation\u2019s request for comment.<\/p>\n<p>Content created by The Daily Caller News Foundation is available without charge to any eligible news publisher that can provide a large audience.
