Version: 4.0.47--><div><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/dw-wp-production.imgix.net\/2022\/05\/GettyImages-1240470863.jpg?w=1200&#038;h=800&#038;ixlib=react-9.3.0\" class=\"ff-og-image-inserted\" alt=\"image\" \/><\/div>\n<p>Amber Heard ignored direction from Judge\u00a0Penny Azcarate on Tuesday, rushing out of the courtroom after disastrous redirect questioning from her legal team.<\/p>\n<p>Heard\u2019s ex-husband Johnny Depp is suing her for $50 million over an op-ed she wrote at The Washington Post about domestic violence, which the actor claims significantly hurt his Hollywood career.<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cAquaman\u201d actress looked combative and frustrated on the stand Tuesday during cross-examination by Depp lawyer Camille Vasquez \u2014 and things only got worse when Heard\u2019s lawyer Elaine Bredehoft tried her best to rehabilitate the actress during redirect questioning.<\/p>\n<p>Bredehoft was repeatedly unable to successfully ask her client questions due to sustained objections from Vasquez.<\/p>\n<p><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\">\u201cWhen <\/span><span class=\"r-18u37iz\"><a class=\"css-4rbku5 css-18t94o4 css-901oao css-16my406 r-1cvl2hr r-1loqt21 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\" role=\"link\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/AmberHeard?src=hashtag_click\">#AmberHeard<\/a><\/span><span class=\"css-901oao css-16my406 r-poiln3 r-bcqeeo r-qvutc0\"> was done testifying the judge told her she could have a seat next to her attorney, twice, \u2013 instead \u2013 Heard walked out of the courtroom before the jury had the opportunity to leave for the break,\u201d Law&#038;Crime\u2019s Cathy Russon captioned video. <\/span><\/p>\n<p>The video clip shows Heard making a beeline for the door while sipping on a drink and ignoring Judge Azcarate\u2019s initial direction.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou can have a seat next to your attorney, okay?\u201d the judge softly told Heard. \u201cYou can go have a seat next to her, that\u2019s fine.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Heard goes right for the door instead.<\/p>\n<p>Several on Depp\u2019s legal team, on the other hand, embraced for hugs.<\/p>\n<p>WATCH:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">When <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/AmberHeard?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#AmberHeard<\/a> was done testifying the judge told her she could have a seat next to her attorney, twice, \u2013 instead \u2013 Heard walked out of the courtroom before the jury had the opportunity to leave for the break. <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/hashtag\/JohnnyDepp?src=hash&#038;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">#JohnnyDepp<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/dP4am8fEmE\">pic.twitter.com\/dP4am8fEmE<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Cathy Russon (@cathyrusson) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/cathyrusson\/status\/1526658768020250624?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 17, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Heard first took on cross-examination from Depp\u2019s legal team on Monday, which continued through Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>Early on during cross-examination, Vasquez\u00a0played audio for the court that revealed why Depp has not once looked Heard in the eyes during the explosive defamation trial.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou will not see my eyes again,\u201d Depp promised Heard during a meeting in 2016, the last time the couple spoke to one another in person.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe won\u2019t look at you, right?\u201d Vasquez <a href=\"https:\/\/www.marca.com\/en\/lifestyle\/celebrities\/2022\/05\/16\/6282b46322601d266d8b45bb.html\">asked<\/a> Heard during the first hour of cross-examination.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou know exactly why Mr. Depp won\u2019t look at you,\u201d Vasquez pressed. \u201cHe promised you he would never see your eyes again, is that true?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t recall that,\u201d Heard responded, before Depp\u2019s team played the 2016 audio clip for the court.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPlease, I just want to hug you and say bye,\u201d Heard begs Depp on the audio.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am nothing to you, and I will always be nothing to you,\u201d the \u201cPirates of the Caribbean\u201d actor said back. \u201cYou will not see my eyes again.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Vasquez also played audio of Heard begging Depp to stay and have a \u201cnormal fight\u201d with her instead of leaving and getting space.<\/p>\n<p>Depp\u2019s legal team suggested the audio clips exposed Heard\u2019s pattern of trying to spark fights with the actor when he tried to leave and diffuse the situation.<\/p>\n<p>Heard contended on the stand she was trying to get Depp to stay because he would otherwise leave to do drugs and alcohol, putting her at risk.
