This time they got lead client partner Alex Martinez on camera saying that Twitter as a company cares more about ideology than making money. But simultaneously, the employee expresses the thought that Twitter\u2019s rules are what keeps advertisers happy.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>What\u2019s made clear is that Twitter\u2019s ideologically-driven staffers believe free speech takes second place to some greater cause, such as &#8220;for the planet.&#8221; Martinez says this sect of the company will rebel against Elon Musk\u2019s plans.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\"><\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>Alex Martinez\u2019s role with Twitter has him dealing with relations with advertisers on the platform. In the conversation with the undercover Veritas agent, Martinez made a correlation between the moderation side of things (controlling information) and making money.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>&#8220;Advertisers are freaking out because he, because of what he\u2019s like tweeting about like being &#8216;I want free speech, yada, yada, yada.&#8217; Yeah. And if that means there\u2019s a level of censorship to make it correct. Quote, unquote again. And what does correct mean? I guess, like, it just kind of goes into the idea of like, well, what is correct? <\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>&#8220;Like every idea of like- you know, it\u2019s kind of like the principle of being like good and bad, like good and bad exists and there\u2019s &#8211; it either is bad or it\u2019s either good. It isn\u2019t, it\u2019s not like a mix of good and bad. It\u2019s like one or the other, and it\u2019s like kind of the same idea of\u2013 like, is it\u2026 is it truthful or is it lies or is it a mix of truth and lies? You know what I mean? Elon\u2019s gonna f*ck everything up,&#8221; said the undercover Veritas person. <\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>But Martinez reassured him otherwise. &#8220;There are people that are gonna try to push back as much as they can, because we are doing\u2026 the rest of us who have been here, believe in something that\u2019s good for the planet and not just to give people free speech.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>The Twitter staffer said it\u2019ll come down to when Elon Musk has to take the reins and actually talk to employees about these issues. Martinez says people at the company will confront him about the platform\u2019s misinformation policies.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>&#8220;People don\u2019t know how to make a rational decision if you don\u2019t put out &#8212; correct things that are supposed to be out in the public, right?&#8221; is what the Twitter staffer believes.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>Alex Martinez says Twitter cares more about ideology than making a profit. &#8220;Now I think it\u2019s about, well, right now we don\u2019t make profit. So it\u2019s gonna say ideology, which is what\u2019s led us into not being profitable.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>&#8220;If we\u2019re implementing all these rules\u2026 and Elon wants to dismantle them, then technically our ideology has led us to not making money because we\u2019re not making money, and Elon wants to turn it the other way so that we can make money, do you get what I mean?&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>Martinez then mocked his (potential) future boss\u2019s Asperger\u2019s syndrome. &#8220;Like he\u2019s a loony tune, he has Asperger\u2019s,&#8221; Martinez says to the undercover Veritas agent. &#8220;So he\u2019s special. We all know that. And that\u2019s fine. So here, no one\u2019s gonna say some f*ck*ng crazy sh*t because he\u2019s special.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>&#8220;I\u2019m like you\u2019re special needs\u2013 you\u2019re literally special needs. Literally though, you really are. So, I can\u2019t even take what you\u2019re saying seriously. Cause you\u2019re special.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>At the end of the video it\u2019s made clear that Twitter issued a warning to staff about the upcoming work Project Veritas was going to be doing. Alex Martinez didn\u2019t believe the person he was talking to would\u2019ve been one of those undercover people, however.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>Tuesday\u2019s edition from Veritas follows <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/breaking-twitter-engineer-tells-project-veritas-employees-are-commie-as-f-ck-and-hate-elon-musk-free-speech\">Monday\u2019s expose<\/a> where senior engineer Siru Murugesan was caught on camera expressing the same prevailing sentiments: that Twitter\u2019s company culture is overtly leftist, enough to the point that it impacts the site\u2019s moderation operations and policies, and that there are a fair share of staffers who are furious that Elon Musk is coming in to radically change things.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Tuesday night, Project Veritas released part two of their bombshell Twitter expos\u00e9.
