Rick Scott released a savage statement against President Joe Biden on Tuesday that claimed the president\u2019s \u201cappeasement of brutal dictators is disgusting.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Scott shared the statement following reports that Biden will ease sanctions with murderous Venezuelan President Nicol\u00e1s Maduro.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cJoe Biden\u2019s appeasement of brutal dictators is disgusting and undermines America\u2019s national security and commitment to protecting democracy around the world,\u201d Scott wrote in the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rickscott.senate.gov\/2022\/5\/sen-rick-scott-biden-s-negotiations-with-maduro-appeasement-of-dictators-undermines-human-rights-and-democracy-in-latin-america\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">statement<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNicol\u00e1s Maduro is a brutal dictator who is committing genocide against his citizens and depriving them of democracy. Yet, just one day after easing sanctions on the murderous and illegitimate communist regime in Cuba, President Biden has decided to further abandon democracy in Latin America by easing sanctions on Maduro and his evil thugs while getting NOTHING in return. No commitment to democracy. No commitment to freeing political prisoners or the remaining U.S. citizens being unjustly imprisoned by Maduro\u2019s regime. It\u2019s absolutely unconscionable,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Scott argued that the only discussion the Biden administration should have with Venezuela\u2019s leaders is regarding when Maduro will leave his leadership role.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe ONLY thing the Biden administration should discuss with the regime is when Maduro will step down. The United States has rightfully recognized Juan Guaid\u00f3 as the legitimate President of Venezuela, and our efforts, as well as the entire international community, should be focused on ending Maduro\u2019s regime, protecting human rights and helping the Venezuelan people achieve freedom and democracy,\u201d Scott wrote.<\/p>\n<p>Scott has also strongly opposed Biden during other recent comments. Last week, the Florida senator called on the president to resign.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wordsection1\">\u201cIt\u2019s simple. The most effective thing Joe Biden can do to solve the inflation crisis he created is resign. He\u2019s the problem. Getting him out of office is a quick and easy solution,\u201d Scott <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rickscott.senate.gov\/2022\/5\/sen-rick-scott-the-most-effective-thing-joe-biden-can-do-to-solve-the-inflation-crisis-he-created-is-resign\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote<\/a> last Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>The senator continued his statement by blasting Biden, claiming he is unfit to serve in the White House.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wordsection1\">\u201cLet\u2019s be honest here. Joe Biden is unwell. He\u2019s unfit for office. He\u2019s incoherent, incapacitated and confused. He doesn\u2019t know where he is half the time. He\u2019s incapable of leading and he\u2019s incapable of carrying out his duties. Period,\u201d Scott continued. \u201cEveryone knows it. No one is willing to say it. But we have to, for the sake of the country. Joe Biden can\u2019t do the job.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition to changes regarding Venezuela, the Biden administration announced on Tuesday its plan to ease Cuban restrictions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBiden\u2019s plan to prop up the Cuban dictatorship represents yet another failure when it comes to standing for freedom in our hemisphere,\u201d Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GovRonDeSantis\/status\/1526578735012581377\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMoney from \u2018tourism\u2019 will go into the pockets of the Cuban regime \u2013 and will help fortify the government against those seeking freedom in Cuba,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n<p>Florida Republican Sen.
