Wade being leaked to the public.<\/p>\n<p>In his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/corner\/judge-jackson-wont-say-dobbs-leak-is-wrong-and-wont-object-to-protests-at-her-soon-to-be-colleagues-homes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">op-ed<\/a>, McCarthy described her silence on the protests as \u201csomewhere between cowardly and sinister,\u201d calling on the progressive justices to condemn the leak of the draft opinion and any illegal action taken by pro-abortion activists.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis ranges from somewhere between cowardly and sinister, much like the failure of the justices to issue a joint statement that echoes the chief justice\u2019s condemnation of the leak and statement of determination to identify the leaker, and that condemns the protests, which violate federal law,\u201d he wrote. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/03\/23\/not-biologist-judge-jackson-declines-answer-20-week-old-unborn-child-outside-womb\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: \u2018I\u2019m Not A Biologist\u2019: Judge Jackson Declines To Answer Whether A 20-Week-Old Unborn Child Can Live Outside The Womb)<\/a> <\/strong><\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Judge Jackson Won\u2019t Say Dobbs Leak Is Wrong and Won\u2019t Object to Protests at Her Soon-to-Be Colleagues\u2019\u2026 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/yDCzQhYbKK\">https:\/\/t.co\/yDCzQhYbKK<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Andy McCarthy (@AndrewCMcCarthy) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/AndrewCMcCarthy\/status\/1526511961911042048?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 17, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>A federal statute, 18 USC <a href=\"https:\/\/www.law.cornell.edu\/uscode\/text\/18\/1507\">\u00a7 1507,<\/a> outlaws private citizens from attempting to influence a court decision by organizing \u201cpickets or parades near or in a building housing a court of the United States, or in or near a building or residence occupied or used by such a judge, juror, witness or court officer.\u201d During a May 9 press conference, then-White House press secretary <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/09\/reporter-jen-psaki-protest-law-scotus-justices-homes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Jen Psaki<\/a> told reporters that the administration does not advocate for peaceful protesters to break the law.<\/p>\n<p>McCarthy criticized Jackson for refusing to weigh in on whether the leak was a \u201cgood thing or bad thing\u201d after saying she had been \u201cshocked\u201d by the leak, then accused her and other progressives of indulging \u201cscare tactics\u201d against the Court.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut they are AWOL and thus, like the Biden administration, tacitly approving of, or at least indulgent of, the scare tactics against the Court and its members,\u201d he said. \u201cOr maybe they figure, not irrationally, that if they said the right things, they\u2019d have the \u2018peaceful protesters\u2019 on their front lawns next.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut that is not what she did. She first expressed shock over the leak, so it was clearly a topic she was willing to weigh in on. But then she refused to say whether she thought the leak \u2014 which the chief justice\u00a0and\u00a0Justice Clarence Thomas (the senior justice on the Court) have full-throatedly condemned \u2014 was a good or bad thing,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n<p>Left-wing group <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/05\/left-wing-group-conservative-scotus-justices-roe-v-wade-leak\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Ruth Sent Us<\/a> published the addresses of the six conservative justices in early May in response to the leaked majority opinion draft.
