The top medical adviser to President Joe Biden simply said \u201cno\u201d to the latter question, prompting a giggle from Acosta.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUh, well, \u2018no,\u2019 to the second question,\u201d Fauci said when asked if he would remain in his post during a second Trump term.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think I knew the answer, but I had to ask,\u201d Acosta replied as he started giggling.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf you look at the history of what the response was during the administration, I think, you know at best you could say it wasn\u2019t optimal, and I think just history will speak for itself about that,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/04\/21\/anthony-fauci-mask-mandate-travel-planes-transportation\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fauci<\/a> continued, returning to the first part of Acosta\u2019s question. \u201cI don\u2019t need to make any further comment on that, Jim.
