Perhaps we should have waited to announce until we were further along, however we were overly excited to share the good news.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cOur love for each other is our strength. We will continue trying to expand our beautiful family. We are grateful for all of your support. We kindly ask for privacy during this difficult moment,\u201d the couple said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The 40-year-old mom of two had announced the pregnancy a month ago. It came months after the highly publicized end of her years-long conservatorship, during which Spears claimed she was forced to wear an intrauterine device (IUD) for birth control despite wanting to have another baby.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI lost so much weight to go on my Maui trip only to gain it back\u2026 I thought \u2018Geez\u2026 what happened to my stomach???\u2019 My husband said \u2018No you\u2019re food pregnant silly!!!\u2019 So I got a pregnancy test\u2026 and uhhhhh well\u2026 I am having a baby\u2026\u201d she shared on social media at the time.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Spears and Asghari, a personal trainer, have been dating since 2016. The \u201cGimme More\u201d singer shares sons Sean Preston, 16, and Jayden James, 15, with ex-husband Kevin Federline.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>During the hearing for ending her conservatorship, Spears went into detail on allegations of forced birth control.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI would like to progressively move forward and I want to have the real deal, I want to be able to get married and have a baby,\u201d Spears testified last June, per <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/variety.com\/2022\/music\/news\/britney-spears-miscarriage-pregnancy-1235267186\/\"><span>Variety<\/span><\/a><span>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI was told right now in the conservatorship, I\u2019m not able to get married or have a baby. I have an IUD inside of myself right now so I don\u2019t get pregnant. I wanted to take the IUD out so I could start trying to have another baby. But this so-called team won\u2019t let me go to the doctor to take it out because they don\u2019t want me to have children \u2014 any more children.
