UFOs.<\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Of the 12,618 sightings recorded in Project BLUE BOOK, <\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2019\/01\/15\/arts\/television\/project-blue-book-history-true-story.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">701 remain unexplained.<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">But disclosure in our history hasn\u2019t just entailed flying saucers. So for those of you who think alien invaders are too weird to discuss, let\u2019s talk about the fact that we still don\u2019t know where JFK\u2019s brain is.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Yes, you read that right. JFK\u2019s brain, or rather what was left of it, was removed and put into a jar for further study. The jar was sent to the National Archives, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.theguardian.com\/world\/shortcuts\/2013\/oct\/21\/presidents-brain-missing-mislaid-body-parts\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">then it disappeared<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Did they lose it? Was it stolen? For all things holy, how could such a thing possibly happen?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Another topic not covered by the mainstream media is that more disclosure of the infamous Kennedy files is\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/allthatsinteresting.com\/where-is-jfks-brain\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">scheduled for December<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u00a0of this year. Does anybody seem to care? And the fact that our country was at war in Afghanistan for so long, people who weren\u2019t even alive on 9\/11 ended up fighting there.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Where Does God fit In?<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">What strikes me as interesting is those who believe in God tend to be skeptics on the UFO question. Nonbelievers tend to look towards the stars and contemplate if they are alone. Perhaps we all have an innate desire to believe in something larger than ourselves, be it God or E.T.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">No doubt, if it were announced that aliens exist, there would be aspects of religions that would struggle. For example, can you be a Muslim alien or a Jewish alien?<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/slate.com\/technology\/2021\/10\/ufo-aliens-religion-clergy.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Pope Francis has already said<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> he would baptize an extraterrestrial if they asked for it because, as he so plainly put it:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cWho are we to close doors?\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">So I find it unlikely that the religious community would crumble. For various reasons, I struggle with falling asleep. \u201cAncient Aliens\u201d\u00a0is almost always on T.V., and I\u2019d be guaranteed to be asleep at least at the halfway mark.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">This isn\u2019t to say that the episodes aren\u2019t interesting. On the contrary, the concept of Ancient Astronaut Theorists and ufologists fascinate me just as much as the fact that anybody can become a Fellow of just about anything these days. (Like \u201cdisinformation.\u201d)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">However, the show that legitimized UFO investigation was \u201cUnidentified: Inside America\u2019s UFO Investigation.\u201d Originally a show meant to shake up my usual evening sleep routine, I quickly became fascinated. The credible military personnel and pilot accounts were riveting.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">What I found even more interesting than the scientific investigative nature of the show was that this endeavor was mainly due to former Blink-182 member Tom DeLonge.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">All the Small Things<\/span><\/h3>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">DeLonge and other members from the scientific, aerospace, engineering, military, and intelligence communities created To the Stars Academy of Arts &#038; Sciences. At least not any worse than we already see. I don\u2019t even know if it\u2019ll get that much media coverage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Mainstream media still considers this a fringe topic full of outlandish claims made by people with unhealthy obsessions with Gillian Anderson. But disclosure would raise some interesting questions, including how we should deal with those who hid the truth and what we do with this newfound truth.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.msnbc.com\/msnbc\/flashback-reagans-vision-unifying-msna166941\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Ronald Reagan said<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\"> at the United Nations in 1987:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cPerhaps we need some outside universal threat to make us realize this common bond. I occasionally think how quickly our differences worldwide would vanish if we were facing an alien threat from outside this world.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">I suppose the war in Ukraine would seem a bit insignificant with alien invaders in the mix.\u00a0<\/span><a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/05\/10\/us\/politics\/ufo-sightings-house-hearing.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">Congressman Carson said<\/span><\/a><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">:<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">\u201cThis may be the very thing that brings Democrats and Republicans together, at least for an hour or two.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><span data-preserver-spaces=\"true\">That doesn\u2019t sound so bad to me.
