Wade<\/em> decision could likely be overturned, and declared they \u201cwill not back down.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Stars like Ariana Grande, Selena Gomez, Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Shawn Mendes, and more than 100 other performers, musicians, supermodels, and influencers signed an advertisement\u00a0taken out in The New York Times that read, \u201cThe Supreme Court is planning to overturn <em>Roe v. Wade<\/em>, taking away the constitutional right to abortion,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.today.com\/health\/health\/selena-gomez-ariana-grande-stars-supporting-roe-rcna28693?utm_campaign=likeshopme-gallery&#038;cid=sm_npd_td_in_td-bio_180511&#038;utm_medium=instagram&#038;utm_source=dash%20hudson&#038;utm_content=www.instagram.com\/p\/CdgFFQgA7Kc\/\">reported<\/a> the \u201cToday\u201d show in a piece published Friday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur power to plan our futures and control our own bodies depends on our ability to access sexual and reproductive health care, including abortion,\u201d the ad continued. \u201cWe are artists. Creators. Storytellers. We are the new generation stepping into our power. Now we are being robbed of our power.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe will not go back,\u201d the ad stated. \u201cAnd we will not back down.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The ad is part of Planned Parenthood\u2019s larger <a href=\"https:\/\/www.plannedparenthoodaction.org\/rightfully-ours\/bans-off-our-bodies\">Bans Off Our Bodies campaign<\/a>. It\u2019s still your right. But the Supreme Court is prepared to end your constitutional right to abortion. Our country is facing an abortion access crisis.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>By this summer, 26 states could move to ban abortion \u2014 affecting 36 million women, plus more people who can become pregnant. This is personal.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>On May 2, Politico <a href=\"https:\/\/www.politico.com\/news\/2022\/05\/02\/supreme-court-abortion-draft-opinion-00029473\">broke the news<\/a> the Supreme Court had seemingly \u201cvoted to strike down the landmark\u201d decision, reporting that Justice Samuel Alito had written an opinion draft that is an \u201cunflinching repudiation\u201d of <em>Roe v.
