The tweet went on to tout the decrease in unemployment since then, calling it the fastest drop in unemployment at the start of a president\u2019s term ever.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">When President Biden took office, millions were unemployed and there was no vaccine available.<\/p>\n<p>In the last 15 months, the economy has created 8.3M jobs and the unemployment rate stands at 3.6% \u2014 the fastest decline in unemployment to start a President\u2019s term ever recorded.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 The White House (@WhiteHouse) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/WhiteHouse\/status\/1524868269148192779?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 12, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>There were, in fact, COVID-19 vaccines available to the public for weeks before <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/12\/joe-biden-covid-19-coronavirus-deaths-one-million-global-summit\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Biden<\/a> took office. The first COVID-19 vaccine dose <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2020\/12\/15\/pfizer-vaccine-coronavirus-covid-19-moderna-timeline-distribution\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">was administered in the U.S.<\/a> on Dec. 15, 2020, under former President Donald Trump\u2019s administration, more than one month before Biden would become president.
