And if you are really pro-choice, you should be pro-intelligent choice, which means looking at ultrasounds and thinking through all your options. And you should actively support pregnancy crisis centers that exist to give women choices other than adoption.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Women who used to work at Planned Parenthood clinics <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.unplannedfilm.com\/?msclkid=6f340d2bcf3611eca3829e61e0defa47\"><span>testify<\/span><\/a><span> that they were put under pressure to meet quotas, like salesmen closing a deal, since abortions bring in so much income. Do you think that is fair to the mother (and her baby)?\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><i>\u201cMy body, my choice.\u201d<\/i><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><em>What about the other person\u2019s body inside of your body? Your choice is robbing them of having a chance.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span>And when it comes to our bodies, do we have the legal right to hire a doctor to cut off a perfectly healthy limb? A doctor could go to jail for amputating a healthy arm or leg. Why, then, should anyone have the legal right to terminate a perfectly healthy baby living inside the womb? (Abortions performed on babies believed to have serious health defects make up the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/clinicquotes.com\/99-31-of-abortions-not-done-for-health-reasons\/?msclkid=cb96c0e9cf3611ecb6cd5b51c947fc18\"><span>tiniest percentage<\/span><\/a><span> of abortions, meaning that nearly all abortions are performed on healthy babies.)<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><i>\u201cWhat about rape and incest?<\/i>\u201d<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><em>That\u2019s a great question, but can we focus on the 98+ percent of abortions that do not involve rape or incest?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span>In reality, abortions for rape or incest count for <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/corner\/a-rape-and-incest-exemption-would-still-ban-more-than-98-percent-of-abortions\/\"><span>less than 2 percent<\/span><\/a><span> of all abortions (likely even less than 1 percent). So, do you agree with me that those should be illegal? And even in cases of rape and incest, if you agree that there is a human being inside your womb, whatever the cause, should that baby now be a victim too?<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><i>\u201cI have a Constitutional right to abortion<\/i>.\u201d<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><em>I\u2019ve got a Constitution handy. Could you show me where in the Constitution you have that right?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span>Even the pro-abortion Women\u2019s Center website, which first <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.womenscenter.com\/2022\/04\/abortion-constitutional-right\/?msclkid=738f3c20cf2211ecb1da720646b1643d\"><span>states<\/span><\/a><span> that \u201cthere is no clear answer when it comes to whether or not the right to an abortion is a constitutional right,\u201d follows that sentence with this: \u201cThe right to an abortion is not mentioned anywhere in the US Constitution.\u201d Precisely so.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>As <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hli.org\/resources\/abortion-no-constitutional-human-right\/?msclkid=738e5203cf2211ecb3566bacdb00e666\"><span>noted<\/span><\/a><span> on the pro-life Human Life International site, \u201cAbortion is not a constitutional right according to a direct reading of the text of the Constitution, but it has been justified as such under the Fourth Amendment\u2019s protection of privacy. In short, the constitutional right to abortion is found not in the Constitution itself, but in a loose reading of it as a \u2018living document,\u2019 as \u2018progressives\u2019 like to call it.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>In the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.liveaction.org\/news\/no-right-abortion-constitution\/?msclkid=4251b1f2cf2311ecbfac48171a8e89b1\"><span>words<\/span><\/a><span> of Brian Clowes, Ph.D., \u201cthe Supreme Court literally conjured [the right to abortion] out of thin air.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><i>\u201cAbortion should be safe and legal.\u201d<\/i><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><em>Safe and legal for whom? Abortion is a death sentence for the baby.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span>Since there is no Constitutional right to abortion, and since many legal experts, including liberal lawyers, recognized that <\/span><i><span>Roe<\/span><\/i><span> went too far, where is it written that abortion should be safe and legal? Just because people say this is true doesn\u2019t make it so.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>And if you can make abortion safe for the baby, which is often ripped up alive in the womb before being sucked out, then let me know.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><i>\u201cThis is all about male control.<\/i>\u201d<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><em>On the contrary, many pro-life leaders are women, while men pressure many women to get abortions.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span>Some of the best-known <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/15-pro-life-heroes-who-brought-us-the-overturn-of-roe-v-wade\"><span>pro-life leaders<\/span><\/a><span> have been (and are) women, like Phyllis Schafly, Abby Johnson, Vicki Thorn, Alveda King, and Lila Rose. And among the three Supreme Court justices appointed by President Trump, it is probably Amy Coney-Barrett who is the most staunchly pro-life. As Bill Maher recently <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/bill-maher-roe-v-wade-abortion-scotus\"><span>said<\/span><\/a><span>, \u201cI learned most people who are pro-life are women.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><i>\u201cThis is yet another white attack on poor black women.<\/i>\u201d<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><em>Actually, we\u2019re working to stop the black genocide since a disproportionate percentage of black babies are aborted.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span>The truth be told, the ones taking advantage of poor black women are the abortion clinics which stand to lose hundreds of millions of dollars should they lose the business of poor black women, subsidized by the government.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The most dangerous place for a black female today is her mother\u2019s womb. Do you feel that is right and good for <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.maafa21.com\/?msclkid=7630ac28cf3711eca8bcef98fa600829\"><span>black Americans<\/span><\/a><span>?<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><i>\u201cAbortion is often an act of mercy to save a severely disabled fetus from terrible suffering.\u201d<\/i><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><em>By your logic, wouldn\u2019t it be an act of mercy to kill that baby after birth?<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span>Doesn\u2019t your argument also justify euthanizing severely disabled babies and children, especially those suffering terribly? And is it only the healthy and strong who get to live or have a purpose or meaning in their lives? As for the number of abortions performed because of health concerns for the baby, it is <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hli.org\/resources\/statistics-on-abortion\/?msclkid=cb96977dcf3611ec920a19ff4fac2531\"><span>well under 1 percent<\/span><\/a><span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><i>There\u2019s a difference between a clump of cells and a baby.<\/i>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><em>A clump of cells does not have a beating heart or a detailed, totally personalized DNA coding.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span>Every human being, including you and me, began as what looks like a clump of cells. (The word \u201cembryo,\u201d describing the first stage of the baby\u2019s life, speaks of the \u201cembryonic\u201d development of a human being.) But does a \u201cclump of cells\u201d have a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/how-science-has-won-the-abortion-debate-and-why-democrats-choose-to-ignore-it\"><span>detectable heartbeat<\/span><\/a><span>? A baby does, within several weeks of conception. As one pro-life website <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.lifemattersww.org\/Need-Help\/Questions-about-abortion\/When-Does-Life-Begin\"><span>pointed out<\/span><\/a><span>, \u201cBetween conception and birth, the heart beats approximately 54 million times!\u201d And does a \u201cclump of cells\u201d have its own unique DNA? A baby does early in the first trimester.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><i>What if the mother\u2019s life is in danger?<\/i><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><em>We are pro-life, which means that every effort is made to save both mother and child.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span>Today, there are <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/thatmom.com\/2011\/07\/19\/pro-life-apologist-has-this-to-say-about-ectopic-pregnancies\/?msclkid=49d7bc6ecf3a11ecbfb5642c006c4b9b\"><span>hardly any<\/span><\/a><span> medical situations where performing an abortion will <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2019\/09\/19\/i-was-wrong-sometimes-its-necessary-to-remove-ectopic-babies-to-save-their-mothers-life\/\"><span>save the mother\u2019s life<\/span><\/a><span>. As <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nrlc.org\/archive\/abortion\/pba\/HowOftenAbortionNecessarySaveMother.pdf?msclkid=9a3146c5cf3811eca2d1c33e3307d6e6\"><span>noted<\/span><\/a><span> already in 1967 by pro-abortion leader Dr. Alan Guttmacher, \u201cToday it is possible for almost any patient to be brought through pregnancy alive, unless she suffers from a fatal illness such as cancer or leukemia, and, if so, abortion would be unlikely to prolong, much less save, life.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>That\u2019s why, in 1980, former Surgeon General Dr. Everett Koop could <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.nrlc.org\/archive\/abortion\/pba\/HowOftenAbortionNecessarySaveMother.pdf?msclkid=9a3146c5cf3811eca2d1c33e3307d6e6\"><span>say<\/span><\/a><span>, \u201cProtection of the life of the mother as an excuse for an abortion is a smoke screen. In my 36 years in pediatric surgery I have never known of one instance where the child had to be aborted to save the mother\u2019s life. . . . If, toward the end of the pregnancy complications arise that threaten the mother\u2019s health, he will take the child by inducing labor or performing a Caesarean section. His intention is still to save the life of both the mother and the baby. The baby will be premature and perhaps immature depending on the length of gestation. Because it has suddenly been taken out of the protective womb, it may encounter threats to its survival. The baby is never willfully destroyed because the mother\u2019s life is in danger.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><i>This is a fetus, not a baby<\/i>.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><em>If you plan to abort the unborn child, you call it a fetus. If you plan to keep the unborn child, you call it a baby.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span>Be honest. If you welcomed or planned the pregnancy, wouldn\u2019t you call the unborn child a baby as soon as you found out you were pregnant? Wouldn\u2019t you say, \u201cWe\u2019re having a girl\u201d (or, boy)? Wouldn\u2019t you tell your friends, \u201cLook at my baby bump\u201d rather than \u201cmy fetus bump\u201d? Wouldn\u2019t you say, \u201cThe baby just kicked!\u201d rather than, \u201cThe fetus just kicked!\u201d? And wouldn\u2019t you talk to your baby \u2013 in the womb \u2013 and give it a name? Why is it that babies you want to keep are babies while babies you want to abort are fetuses?<\/span><\/p>\n<h4><strong><i>The American people do not want <\/i>Roe<i> overturned.<\/i>\u00a0<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><em>Then let the people decide.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><span>Overturning <\/span><i><span>Roe<\/span><\/i><span> puts the decision back in the hands of the people you and I elect to office in the states in which we live.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>As for the polling data that indicates that most Americans do not want <\/span><i><span>Roe<\/span><\/i><span> overturned, is that data really accurate? Most Americans think that overturning <\/span><i><span>Roe<\/span><\/i><span> means outlawing all abortions nationwide.
