A spokesperson for the Victorian government confirmed the claim is false.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Facebook <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/PeopleForInformedConsent\/posts\/5360556583968026\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">post<\/a>, which has been shared over 400 times, shows a screengrab of a tweet that reads, \u201cVICTORIA, AUSTRALIA: Premier Dan Andrews is passing a bill that prohibits people from growing their own food,\u201d citing\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/content.legislation.vic.gov.au\/sites\/default\/files\/bills\/591044bi1.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Agriculture Legislation Amendment Bill<\/a> as the legislation in question.<\/p>\n<p>The claim is incorrect.
