For a long time. My sicknesses just have their names now. I went to doctors for 8 years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cTrying to figure out what was wrong with me,\u201d the star added. \u201cI was called crazy and anxious and lazy amongst other things. I changed my entire lifestyle. When I wasn\u2019t working I was essentially confined to my home for fear of how I\u2019d feel when I woke up each morning.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">\u201cI didn\u2019t \u2018just get sick\u2019 I\u2019ve been sick. They could be fighting a battle that they haven\u2019t named yet. Ya know?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cGraveyard\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/halsey-changes-pronouns-to-she-they\">hitmaker<\/a> previously addressed fans who expressed concern after seeing the singer wearing a heart monitor.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2022\/05\/11\/entertainment\/halsey-health-conditions-hospitalizations\/index.html\">Halsey talked<\/a> about being allergic to \u201cliterally everything\u201d and about getting \u201creally really really sick\u201d since getting pregnant and giving birth.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was hospitalized for anaphylaxis a few times,\u201d the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/pop\/halsey-called-crazy-anxious-lazy-before-diagnoses-1235070096\/\">singer shared<\/a> of the potentially life-threatening allergic reaction. \u201cAfter seeing, like, a hundred thousand doctors, I got diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, Sj\u00f6gren\u2019s syndrome, mast cell activation syndrome, POTS, and I\u2019m still looking for answers to the root cause of some of these things that could potentially be another type of autoimmune disease.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The singer concluded the post explaining the \u201ctreatment plan\u201d the star\u2019s on now, adding that she\u2019s \u201creally excited\u201d for what\u2019s next.<\/p>\n<p>Halsey welcomed a child with screenwriter Alev Aydin in July 2021.
