Gov. Winsome Sears blasted President Joe Biden saying he has failed to do enough to protect Supreme Court justices as protesters continue to demonstrate outside of their private homes.<\/p>\n<p>Sears shared the remarks during an interview on \u201cFox &#038; Friends\u201d on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPresident Biden, you need to tell your attorney general to go and do his job and protect the citizens of the United States of America,\u201d Sears <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/supreme-court-roe-wade-abortion-biden-garland-virginia-winsome-sears\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a> during the interview.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUltimately, sir, this falls on you. This is on your watch. And it\u2019s all fun and games until somebody gets hurt. And then who is going to write the script for you, Mr. President, so you can read it and say that it was somebody else\u2019s fault?\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<p>The lieutenant governor also called on Attorney General Merrick Garland to enforce the law against the intimidation of justices in her state.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe have asked Attorney General Garland to enforce the law and to make sure that these demonstrators are not allowed to try to intimidate justices like they are trying to do,\u201d she noted during the interview.<\/p>\n<p>Sears spoke out against protesters in a Twitter post on Wednesday, also calling on state officials to take action.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSilence doesn\u2019t guarantee safety. The mob may come for you. The Commonwealth Attorney has the power to prosecute the individuals picketing and protesting outside the homes of SCOTUS Justices. Wade\u00a0<\/em>and return decisions regarding abortion laws to individual states.<\/p>\n<p>On Monday, protesters gathered outside of Alito\u2019s home. It is illegal to try to influence the court\u2019s decision.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Last night, radical leftists held threatening and intimidating protests outside Justice Alito&#8217;s Virginia home.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;F\u2014 you Alito&#8221; they screamed.<\/p>\n<p>These protests are technically illegal but, of course, no one was arrested.<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/E4Ge8Fy4mh\">https:\/\/t.co\/E4Ge8Fy4mh<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/KQcaJSuncj\">pic.twitter.com\/KQcaJSuncj<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Steven Ertelt (@StevenErtelt) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/StevenErtelt\/status\/1524026218684641280?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 10, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The Daily Wire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/amy-coney-barretts-neighbor-has-a-message-for-pro-abortion-handmaids-demonstrating-at-her-house\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a> on Wednesday on a small group of pro-abortion rights protestors who demonstrated in front of Justice Amy Coney Barrett\u2019s home, prompting criticism from one of the justice\u2019s neighbors.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey shouldn\u2019t be doing this,\u201d he told The Daily Signal\u2019s Doug Blair, before telling the protestors: \u201cGo home and get a family.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s none of their business, why are they here?\u201d he asked. The neighbor said that he thinks it is \u201cof course\u201d inappropriate for the protestors, who were dressed as handmaids, to demonstrate in Barrett\u2019s neighborhood.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey have the right to protest but not in front of someone\u2019s house,\u201d he said. \u201cThey live here, this is where she lives.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Handmaid&#8217;s Tale is at Justice Amy Coney Barrett\u2019s home. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/mCQrrgo4Lt\">pic.twitter.com\/mCQrrgo4Lt<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Virginia Allen (@Virginia_Allen5) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/Virginia_Allen5\/status\/1524532379544662017?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 11, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The protests have led to increased police protection for the Supreme Court\u2019s justices and their family members.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to protests, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) forced a vote on the Women\u2019s Health Protection Act on Wednesday to put every senator on record regarding their view of the abortion legislation.<\/p>\n<p>All 50 Republican senators and West Virginia Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin opposed the vote, with 49 Democrats opposing the measure, falling short of a majority and far below the 60-vote supermajority required to bypass a Senate filibuster.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Virginia Republican Lt.
