Her conviction was upheld by a federal judge, though two counts of conspiracy were later dismissed, the outlet reported.<\/p>\n<p>The Facebook post claims Maxwell received a 10-year prison sentence for her crimes. \u201cGhislaine Maxwell got 10 years and NOT one client has been arrested,\u201d reads the post. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/10\/12\/fact-check-f-joe-biden-sign-stadium\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Was A \u2018F*** Joe Biden\u2019 Sign Displayed On The Side Of A Stadium?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This claim is misleading. While no one besides Maxwell and Epstein appears to have been arrested or charged in connection to the sex trafficking scheme the two operated, Maxwell has not yet been sentenced. Rather, she is scheduled for sentencing June 28, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/abcnews.go.com\/US\/judge-declines-ghislaine-maxwells-request-overturn-conviction\/story?id=84445938\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ABC News<\/a>. The convicted sex trafficker is facing up to 55 years in prison, the outlet reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGhislaine Maxwell has not yet been sentenced on her conviction,\u201d said Nicholas Biase, a spokesperson for the U.S. Attorney\u2019s Office of the Southern District of New York, in an email to Check Your Fact. \u201cJeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell are the only defendants charged in this case.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While many high-profile individuals, including former Presidents Bill Clinton and Donald Trump, were mentioned during the trial, none of those individuals were alleged to have done anything wrong, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/news\/world\/americas\/crime\/prince-andrew-trump-ghislaine-maxwell-b2030568.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.independent.co.uk\/news\/world\/americas\/crime\/prince-andrew-trump-ghislaine-maxwell-b2030568.html&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1652322296611000&#038;usg=AOvVaw33NFBnnuZnWcATvHXqH_SI\">The Independent<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time Maxwell\u2019s trial has been the subject of misinformation.
