But now I won\u2019t do \u2014 I don\u2019t wanna do violence, I don\u2019t wanna do sexuality, the list is short.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>WATCH:<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>When Mendes was pressed by co-host Sunny Hostin if the actress would return for a \u201cspecial project\u201d that fit those requirements, \u201cThe Other Guys\u201d star said, \u201cI hope so. I would like to. It has to be nice and clean.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Later, Hostin asked the actress about why she decided to take a break from social media last year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI took a break from social media because I started feeling really phony in it,\u201d Mendes shared. \u201cYou know, you hear, \u2018you need to put out content, content,\u2019 and it\u2019s like, okay, content, but okay, what is that? So, I started seeing my day like, \u2018is this a social media post?\u2019 \u2026 \u00a0and I was like, I don\u2019t want to live like that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to have more genuine, like, \u2018oh, that\u2019s cool to post,\u2019\u201d she added. \u201cBut not seek it out. And I started feeling phony.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Eva was last seen on the big screen in 2014 when she appeared alongside her real life partner\/director Ryan Gosling in the movie \u201cThe Lost River.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Earlier this month, the \u201c2 Fast 2 Furious\u201d star opened up about motherhood during her appearance on \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=5gzo2AHvwYY\">Today with Hoda and Jenna<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI met Ryan Gosling, I fell in love with Ryan Gosling, and then I was like, \u2018Oh right. I want your babies,\u2019\u201d Mendes shared.\u00a0\u201cBut really consciously I did want to wait until I was a bit older. I just didn\u2019t feel \u2014 really it wasn\u2019t until I met Ryan and fell in love.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut also as like a woman, I just wasn\u2019t ready,\u201d she added. \u201cIt\u2019s such a personal choice for a woman, obviously. Then you run the risk of \u2026 you\u2019re always running a risk. When I was pregnant, there was always something to worry about.
