Wade<\/span><\/i><span>, the 1973 ruling that enshrined the right to an abortion. President Joe Biden immediately went on the warpath as the White House refused to say whether Biden would accept such a ruling as \u201clegitimate.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Meanwhile, in dystopian news, the Department of Justice announced the creation of the \u201cOffice of Environmental Justice,\u201d hot on the heels of the birth of the \u201cDisinformation Governance Board.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>And the replacement for White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki \u2014 who will soon be departing to work as another liberal talking head at MSNBC \u2014 was finally announced.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Orwell Rolls Over<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span>George Orwell\u2019s dystopian novel \u201c1984\u201d features the Ministry of Truth, which feeds propaganda to the masses; the Ministry of Peace, which wages war; the Ministry of Love, which propagates fear via Big Brother;\u00a0 and the Ministry of Plenty, which\u2014shocker\u2014rations food and goods.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Biden is following in Orwell\u2019s footsteps, creating his own deliberately misleading ministries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The Department of Justice this week announced it is <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/doj-establishes-office-of-environmental-justice\"><span>establishing<\/span><\/a><span> a new \u201cOffice of Environmental Justice.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Attorney General Merrick Garland said the office will \u201coversee and help guide the Justice Department\u2019s wide-ranging environmental justice efforts.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>He went on to claim climate change is racist. \u201cAlthough violations of our environmental laws can happen anywhere, communities of color, indigenous communities, and low-income communities often bear the brunt of the harm caused by environmental crime, pollution, and climate change,\u201d Garland said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The move follows another by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), which <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/20-gop-attorneys-general-threaten-lawsuit-over-un-american-disinformation-board\"><span>created<\/span><\/a><span> the Orwellian-themed Disinformation Governance Board, charged with deciding what truth is.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>That move brought firm resistance from top law enforcement officials across the country, with 20 state attorneys general firing off a stern letter to the DHS secretary.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThe existence of the Disinformation Governance Board will inevitably have a chilling effect on free speech. Americans will hesitate before they voice their constitutionally protected opinions, knowing that the government\u2019s censors may be watching, and some will decide it is safer to keep their opinions to themselves,\u201d the letter stated.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThis Board is un-American, anti-democratic, and a dangerous escalation of the Biden Administration\u2019s embrace of government-endorsed censorship,\u201d the attorneys general wrote.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cUnless you turn back now and disband this Orwellian Disinformation Governance Board immediately, the undersigned will have no choice but to consider judicial remedies to protect the rights of their citizens,\u201d\u00a0 the letter concluded.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Roe v. Wade v. Everyone<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span>In a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/leak-of-scotus-draft-on-roe-v-wade-stuns-nation-this-leak-is-the-gravest-most-unforgivable-sin\"><span>draft Supreme Court opinion<\/span><\/a><span> that leaked on Monday, Justice Samuel Alito wrote that \u201cRoe was egregiously wrong from the start\u201d and \u201cwe hold that Roe \u2026 must be overruled.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cIt is time to heed the Constitution and return the issue of abortion to the people\u2019s elected representatives,\u201d he added. \u201cThe Constitution makes no reference to abortion and no such right is implicitly protected by any constitutional provision.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>President Joe Biden immediately started pumping out the hyperbole, saying that LGBTQ students might be banned from classrooms if the leaked draft opinion goes into effect. He also warned that the opinion could be a slippery slope to retracting gay marriage.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The White House, meanwhile, <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/jen-psaki-wont-say-whether-biden-would-accept-roe-decision-as-legitimate\"><span>refused to say<\/span><\/a><span> whether Biden would support such a SCOTUS ruling. Asked whether the president would take the decision as \u201clegitimate,\u201d White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki said, \u201cWell, I can\u2019t speak for what actions could be possible on the legal front, I would point you to the Department of Justice on that.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Vice President Kamala Harris \u2014 ostensibly a woman, even if we don\u2019t know for sure how she identifies \u2014 <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/time-to-fight-kamala-harris-claims-roe-opponents-want-to-punish-women\"><span>jumped into the fray<\/span><\/a><span>, saying: \u201cWhat is clear is that the opponents of <\/span><i><span>Roe <\/span><\/i><span>want to punish women and take away their rights to make decisions about their own bodies. Republican legislators in states across the country are weaponizing the use of the law against women.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>And thank God \u201cThe View\u201d co-host Whoopi Goldberg <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/whoopi-goldberg-claims-biden-does-not-believe-in-abortion-he-is-a-roman-catholic\"><span>weighed in<\/span><\/a><span>, claiming she knows definitively where Biden stands, saying he \u201cis a Roman Catholic\u201d and \u201che does not believe in abortion.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Phew. Okay, matter settled.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><b>Psaki Bails Out<\/b><\/p>\n<p><span>The White House officially announced on Thursday that White House Principal Deputy Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre will <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/biden-announces-jen-psakis-replacement-heres-who-it-is\"><span>take over<\/span><\/a><span> for Press Secretary Jen Psaki on May 13.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Psaki has reportedly been negotiating a new job on MSNBC after her departure.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cJen Psaki has set the standard for returning decency, respect and decorum to the White House Briefing Room,\u201d Biden said in a statement. \u201cI want to say thank you to Jen for raising the bar, communicating directly and truthfully to the American people, and keeping her sense of humor while doing so. I thank Jen her service to the country, and wish her the very best as she moves forward.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>On the incoming flack, Biden said: \u201cKarine not only brings the experience, talent and integrity needed for this difficult job, but she will continue to lead the way in communicating about the work of the Biden-Harris Administration on behalf of the American people. Jill and I have known and respected Karine a long time and she will be a strong voice speaking for me and this Administration.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>While some cheered Psaki\u2019s departure, popular podcast host Joe Rogan <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/she-took-large-dumps-on-jim-acostas-head-joe-rogan-declares-a-winner-in-the-great-press-secretary-showdown\"><span>gave her props<\/span><\/a><span>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI feel bad for that Jen Psaki lady. Everybody says she\u2019s shrill in the way she communicates but whatever. Imagine having that job!\u201d Rogan said, adding, \u201cf*** that job, \u2019cause she has to debate with people more than the president does. She has to go back and forth with the press.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cAnd sometimes she says things in confidence but, just like being on a f***ing podcast, sometimes you say things and you think it\u2019s true while you\u2019re saying it.
