Elizabeth Warren told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/progressives-defend-scotus-activists\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Fox Business<\/a> that, while she believes \u201cthe best place to protest is on the steps of the United States Supreme Court,\u201d she also said she thinks the court is hypocritical.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_7427363\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\">\n<p id=\"caption-attachment-7427363\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Democratic 2020 U.S. presidential candidate and U.S. Senator Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) speaks to supporters in Memphis, Tennessee, U.S. March 17, 2019. REUTERS\/Karen Pulfer Focht<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cI am very disturbed about the fact that this Supreme Court just a few years back said that it was a restriction on the lawful right to protest if abortion protesters \u2014 those who didn\u2019t want people to be able to get abortions \u2014 couldn\u2019t get within 35 feet of women who were coming in to a Planned Parenthood clinic,\u201d Warren reportedly said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo this Supreme Court said back then protesters should be able to get right in people\u2019s faces. Now, they are erecting barriers to try to keep protesters as far away from themselves as possible. I think that\u2019s fundamentally wrong,\u201d she added, according to Fox.<\/p>\n<p>Democratic Minnesota Rep. Ilhan Omar was read the federal law prohibiting protesting at the homes of the justices by Fox Business, and told the outlet \u201cthe Supreme Court itself has heard this argument and they have themselves said it is protected by the First Amendment.\u201d<strong> <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/10\/jen-psaki-joe-biden-ultra-maga-abortion-roe-v-wave\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Psaki Tells Americans That If You Don\u2019t Support Roe V. Wade, You\u2019re \u2018Ultra MAGA\u2019)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have stood and done counter-protests in front of abortion clinics, when the right has come to attack, to humiliate and to intimidate people who are exercising their own bodily autonomy. We have seen the MAGA movement come and attack us here and lead an insurrection that has made some of us afraid for our lives,\u201d Omar reportedly said.<\/p>\n<p>Democratic Michigan Rep. Rashida Tlaib told Fox Business she does not \u201cwant us to turn into a fascist government where we don\u2019t allow people to protest or speak up again. I mean, I\u2019m Muslim in America. I\u2019ve seen people come in, protest publicly and even burn the Quran in front of Mosques.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI get interrupted and protested all the time. I welcome it in many ways, as long as it\u2019s not, you know, violent rhetoric, talking about, you know, physical harm and all those things. I think it\u2019s just really important to understand that that happens. We\u2019re in public service. People are going to disagree with us. And again, if we\u2019re going to say no here, then when do we stop?\u201d she continued, according to Fox.<\/p>\n<p>The White House has also refused to take a firm stance on whether protesters shouldn\u2019t break the law.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe certainly continue to encourage [peaceful protests] outside of judges\u2019 homes and that\u2019s the president\u2019s position,\u201d White House press secretary Jen Psaki <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/10\/psaki-says-white-house-continues-to-encourage-peaceful-protesting-outside-justices-homes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">said<\/a>. Psaki also refused to say whether President Joe Biden sees protesting outside justices\u2019 homes as \u201cattempts to interfere or intimidate,\u201d instead claiming the administration hasn\u2019t seen intimidation.<\/p>\n<p>Previously, <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/09\/reporter-jen-psaki-protest-law-scotus-justices-homes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Psaki said<\/a> the White House is \u201ccertainly not suggesting anyone break any laws.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Abortion activists have been <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/10\/esther-salas-son-murdered-assassination-attempt-civility-scotus-protests\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">protesting<\/a> outside the home of Supreme Court Associate Justice Samuel Alito after a <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/05\/02\/supreme-court-roe-v-wade-samuel-alito-politico\/\">leaked draft opinion<\/a> authored by Alito appears to show the Court will overturn Roe v.
