And I\u2019m not going to do that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As detailed in Federalist Editor in Chief Mollie Hemingway\u2019s book \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.barnesandnoble.com\/w\/rigged-mollie-hemingway\/1139396959\">Rigged<\/a>,\u201d Elias helped orchestrate the effort to change hundreds of election laws and processes in the months leading up to the 2020 election in order to flood elections with tens of millions of mail-in ballots. The changes were then exploited by left-wing groups funded by hundreds of millions of dollars from Mark Zuckerberg to run Democrat Get-Out-The-Vote operations from inside government election offices. <\/p>\n<p>Elias\u2019 most recent berating is far from the first time his <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/democrats\/the-decline-and-fall-of-a-democratic-superlawyer\/\">election meddling tactics were shunned or completely rejected<\/a> by a court. In January, a federal court\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/judges-deny-democratic-lawyer-marc-eliass-bid-to-shake-court-sanctions\">refused<\/a>\u00a0to grant Elias\u2019s request to rescind their sanctions against him for deceiving judges in his attempts to fight Republicans in Texas who banned straight-ticket voting in the 2020 election. Two of the three judges on the original panel agreed to sanction Elias and his team for purposefully lacking \u201ccandor\u201d in a courtroom setting.<\/p>\n<p>Shortly before that, Elias led the Democrat charge to target election integrity laws in Arizona. The case went all the way to the Supreme Court where, in a 6-3 decision, justices sided with the Republican-controlled state. <\/p>\n<p>Special Counsel John Durham also <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/05\/02\/why-the-hillary-clinton-campaign-cant-hide-38-documents-from-the-special-counsel\/\">recently alleged<\/a> that Elias, who represented Hillary Clinton\u2019s failed presidential campaign and funded the discredited Steele Dossier designed to hurt Donald Trump in 2016, falsely depicted Fusion GPS\u2019 work product as legal work.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe factual record and Fusion GPS\u2019s own communications raise serious questions about this depiction,\u201d Durham <a href=\"https:\/\/freebeacon.com\/democrats\/the-decline-and-fall-of-a-democratic-superlawyer\/\">wrote<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Elias\u2019s former law partner Michael Sussmann was <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2021\/09\/17\/democrat-lawyer-michael-sussmann-indicted-for-lying-to-fbi-about-his-role-in-russian-collusion-hoax\/\">indicted<\/a> for lying to the FBI. Both Democrat attorneys are named in <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/03\/24\/trump-suing-hillary-russia-collusion-hoaxers-who-plotted-against-his-run-for-president\/\">former President Donald Trump\u2019s recent collusion hoaxer lawsuit<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n<p>\n  Jordan Boyd is a staff writer at The Federalist and co-producer of The Federalist Radio Hour.
