I see a strong economy now. I see a very strong labor market.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Biden also claimed that he and his administration were doing everything they could to implement a plan to tackle inflation \u2014 before pivoting to blame it on the lasting effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and Russian President Vladimir Putin\u2019s ongoing war on Ukraine.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Biden says that he is taking inflation &#8220;very seriously&#8221; before once again blaming it on covid and Putin <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/pbh36SPzpi\">pic.twitter.com\/pbh36SPzpi<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Greg Price (@greg_price11) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/greg_price11\/status\/1524057978101452804?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 10, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m taking inflation very seriously. It\u2019s my top domestic priority,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019m here today to talk about solutions, and there\u2019s going to be more we\u2019re going to have to talk about as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut first, I want us to be crystal clear about the problem. There are two leading causes of inflation we\u2019re seeing today,\u201d Biden continued. \u201cThe first cause of inflation is the once in a century pandemic.
