It does not show a genuine Ukrainian drone strike on a Russian warship.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Ukrainian military claims drones have destroyed Russian warships and landing craft in the Black Sea near Snake Island, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rferl.org\/a\/ukraine-russian-serna-landing-craft-destroyed\/31838979.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Radio Free Europe<\/a>. The sinking of the Russian warship Moskva last month is also believed to be the result of a Ukrainian missile strike, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/04\/15\/us\/politics\/russia-moskva-ship-sunk-ukraine.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The New York Times<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>The Facebook video claims to show low-resolution footage of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.baykartech.com\/en\/uav\/bayraktar-tb2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bayraktar<\/a> drone strikes on Russian warships off the coast of Odessa. \u201cIn Odessa (Ukraine) Bayraktar TB2 Drone massacred Russian Cruiser Frigate Warships Admiral Makarov,\u201d reads the video\u2019s caption.<\/p>\n<p>The Admiral Makarov is a Russian warship that was rumored to have been recently hit by a Ukrainian missile strike, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/davidaxe\/2022\/05\/09\/a-journalist-just-spotted-russias-admiral-makarov-frigate-intact-and-at-sea\/?sh=56dc1d1937ca\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Forbes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>However, the video does not show real footage of a drone strike. A reverse image search revealed the footage actually comes from ARMA 3, a military-style video game published by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bohemia.net\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bohemia Interactive<\/a>. The video first appeared May 7 on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=oBhHgxuPek4\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">YouTube<\/a> where it was shared by the account <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UC4hESZxYvuE_0fXTCna7GDw\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Several<\/a>, which has uploaded several simulations of drone attacks on Russian targets.
