Prior to playing for the Buccaneers, Brady won six Super Bowls over a span of 20 seasons with the New England Patriots.<\/p>\n<p>During his retirement, it looked as if Brady was content to focus on his new clothing line and his TB12 sports program, as well as produce and act in a road trip comedy based on a true story about four lifelong friends who journey to Super Bowl LI to see their idol \u2014 Brady \u2014 play in the big game.<\/p>\n<p>In February, The Hollywood Reporter <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/tom-brady-to-star-in-road-trip-comedy-movie-with-lily-tomlin-jane-fonda-rita-moreno-and-sally-field-report\">reported<\/a> that Lily Tomlin, Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, and Sally Field would star in the movie, titled \u201c80 for Brady.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>\u201cBrady<\/em>\u00a0(the movie, not the player) will be directed by Kyle Marvin, who also co-wrote the script with Michael Covino,\u201d The Hollywood Reporter added. \u201cMarvin, who appears as an actor in the upcoming Apple limited series\u00a0<em>WeCrashed<\/em>\u00a0and co-wrote and starred in indie movie\u00a0<em>The Climb<\/em>, is also executive producing with Covino, under the duo\u2019s Watch This Ready banner, and Jeff Stott.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In April, The Daily Wire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/i-know-i-dont-have-a-lot-left-tom-brady-explains-decision-to-return-for-23rd-nfl-season\">reported<\/a> that Brady told ESPN that he realized he simply loves the game of football too much to step away from it just yet.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt the end of the day, I just love the competition on the field,\u201d Brady told ESPN. \u201cAnd last year was a very bitter ending to a season and we\u2019ve got to make a lot of corrections to try to improve and put ourselves in a better position to succeed moving forward.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>While Brady appears to be set to join Fox Sports after his playing days are over, it is unclear when they day will come.
