Your information will not be shared with or sold to 3rd parties.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>The move allowed Byron to pull ahead of Logano despite Logano having the favored line on the outside.<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-block full\">\n[embedded content]\n<\/div>\n<p>Byron was visibly upset with Logano following the race and told Fox Sports\u2019 Jamie Little, \u201cWe were really close off of two, and I think it spooked him, and got him tight and he was right against the wall and I got the lead.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s just an idiot,\u201d Byron then added. \u201cHe does this stuff all the time. I\u2019ve seen it with other guys. He drove in there 10 mph too fast and with these next gen cars, he slammed me so hard it knocked the whole right side off the car, and no way to make the corner.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s just a moron. He can\u2019t win a race so he does it that way,\u201d Byron continued. \u201cIt was close racing on the restart. We were fasting than him. Obviously, at the end, right rear started to go away and he didn\u2019t even make it a contest.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"video-block full\">\n[embedded content]\n<\/div>\n<p>Byron ended up finishing 13th after he was moved by Logano.<\/p>\n<p>Gordon would react to the move promising that Byron owed Logano some payback in the future.<\/p>\n<p>When asked to provide his thoughts on the move, Gordon said, \u201cIt\u2019s unfortunate to see a win be taken away from you on the last lap like that. Logano\u2019s aggressive and William\u2019s car, I believe, was getting really, really loose. So Logano had a shot at him to do it clean and chose to do it a different way. That\u2019s Cup racing. It was a wild day. Tore up a bunch of cars. Those guys have to settle that out there. I would have liked to have seen it done different. I\u2019m sure Joey\u2019s going to justify it and William\u2019s got a payback coming to Joey at some point. So that\u2019s the way it works.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Jeff Gordon talked about what he thought on Logano\u2019s bump and run on Byron.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cLogano had a shot to do it clean. He chose to do it a different way. \u2026 I\u2019m sure Joey\u2019s going to justify it. He came off of turn 2 and drove me into the wall. At that point, I\u2019m lucky my car\u2019s not broken, and I\u2019m a very angry driver. And I think anyone in the field would probably agree if someone\u2019s going to be willing to do that to you, well the gloves are off at that point.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI knew if I got back there what I was going to do and what I had to do,\u201d Logano continued. \u201cAnd that was the way he wanted to race, so I said, \u2018Let\u2019s go.\u2019 If he passed me clean, it wouldn\u2019t have looked like that.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThat was the situation that was there in front of me. Fortunately, I was able to get back there. And he obviously knew it was coming. He checked up into the corner pretty early. So, he obviously knew it was coming. I did what I had to do. Had to win the race. We\u2019re equal. You put me in the wall first. Like I said, it\u2019s game on. At that point in my eyes, it\u2019s equal. If I punted him out of the way for no reason there or \u2014 well to win the race without him doing something to me in the past at any point, which he never has in the past. \u201c<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd it\u2019s not like he meant to fence me. I don\u2019t think he meant to run me into the wall. The facts are he did. And it\u2019s racing. It kind of took the win out of my eyes or my hands. Like I said you\u2019re going to have to do what you have to do to get the lead back in the same manner he got it.
