Ambassador Nikki Haley\u2019s political action committee will launch a new ad on Tuesday attacking the Biden administration for skyrocketing inflation, right before the president is set to address it.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=8iQ9wTt2r08\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ad<\/a>, released by the Stand For America PAC, uses a fictional family of four to demonstrate how prices have affected the American people. It cites a CBS News <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cbsnews.com\/news\/gas-prices-household-impact-2000-a-year\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">report<\/a> estimating rising gas prices could lead households to pay up to $2,000 more per year, as well as a Bloomberg <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2022-03-29\/u-s-households-face-5-200-inflation-tax-this-year-chart\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">report<\/a> estimating inflation could cost a household $5,200 every year.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat are the Democrats who control Washington doing to help? Spending more of your hard-earned money,\u201d the ad says. \u201cThey\u2019ve approved trillions of dollars of new spending in the last year and a half alone.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The ad points to the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan Act, which was passed along party lines, as well as the $1.2 trillion Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, which had <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2021\/11\/15\/joe-biden-victory-lap-bipartisan-infrastructure-bill-signing-ceremony-law\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">bipartisan support<\/a>, as reasons for higher prices.<\/p>\n<p><strong>WATCH:<\/strong><\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>\u201cThe DC spending addiction is out of control and we\u2019re paying more at the pump and grocery store than ever before,\u201d Haley told the Daily Caller News Foundation in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPoliticians need to manage the government\u2019s budget just like families all over America\u2014by making sure they\u2019re not spending more than they take in,\u201d she said. \u201cIf we don\u2019t pump the brakes now, there\u2019s no telling how devastating Biden\u2019s agenda will become.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The ad calls for Congress to balance the budget and end \u201cpork-barrel\u201d projects, a term used to describe spending toward localized initiatives in order to bring more money into a politician\u2019s district.<\/p>\n<p>An April <a href=\"https:\/\/americansforprosperity.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/220184-True-Cost-National-Online-Survey-Interview-Schedule.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">poll<\/a> conducted by Public Opinion Strategies, which was commissioned by Americans for Prosperity, found that 61% of Americans <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/04\/21\/poll-most-americans-agree-blame-inflation-biden-ukraine-putin-energy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">blame Biden<\/a> for <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/04\/20\/record-inflation-biden-economy-unprecedented-conditions-retirees\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">price<\/a> increases, while 75% said inflation impacted the items they purchased over the last year.<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s speech Tuesday is expected to target policies proposed by the GOP, such as the <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/04\/21\/democrats-rick-scott-plan-midterms-taxes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">policy agenda<\/a> released by Florida Sen. Rick Scott, chair of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, Axios <a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/2022\/05\/08\/biden-targets-gop-on-inflation-as-prices-skyrocket\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported<\/a>.
