In fact, one advocate of deficit reduction, Marc Goldwein of the Committee\u00a0for a Responsible Federal Budget, told me that this claim is almost bizarro world, a reversal of reality,\u201d Dale continued.<\/p>\n<p>Dale went on to note that the deficit was expected to fall by more than $360 billion \u2014 and that the Congressional Budget Office had predicted it would fall by more than $870 billion \u201cif President Biden did not implement new policy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dale\u2019s conclusion was that the shortfall between the expected deficit reduction and the actual reduction was a direct result of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailywire.com\/news\/breaking-dem-controlled-house-approves-1-9-trillion-stimulus-biden-plans-to-sign-friday\/\">policies<\/a> that were <a href=\"https:\/\/dailywire.com\/news\/pelosi-did-not-have-the-democratic-votes-sinema-credits-house-republicans-with-passage-of-infrastructure-bill\/\">implemented<\/a> by the Biden administration \u2014 such as the $1.9 trillion American Rescue Plan and the bipartisan infrastructure bill, among other things.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhatever you think of all those policies, they all cost money,\u201d Dale said. \u201cSo there ended up being less deficit reduction than expected.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Dale noted that President Biden liked to draw from Moody\u2019s Analytics to support his claims, adding that Dan White, senior director at Moody\u2019s, had told him, \u201cThe actions of this administration and Congress have undoubtedly resulted in higher deficits, not smaller ones.
