Jackson<\/em> opinion draft last Monday, leftists took to the streets to <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/05\/03\/lets-burn-this-place-down-left-calls-for-violence-after-treasonous-scotus-abortion-leak\/\">express their outrage<\/a> that SCOTUS plans to overturn <em>Roe v. Wad<\/em>e. <\/p>\n<p>Since the first night when pro-abortion supporters picketed in front of the barricades protecting the Supreme Court, radical <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/05\/05\/meet-the-shady-left-wing-group-targeting-scotus-justices-and-their-families\/\">pro-abortion groups<\/a>, some with <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/05\/09\/hillary-endorsed-abortion-group-targeting-churches-is-a-front-for-revolutionary-communists\/\">communist undertones<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/05\/05\/left-wing-group-bribes-abortion-radicals-with-stipends-for-participating-in-intimidation-protests-at-justices-homes\/\">sicced<\/a> their supporters on conservative justices with hopes of intimidating them into changing their minds. They shared the justices\u2019 alleged home addresses and even bribed people to participate with stipends. <\/p>\n<p>Other groups focused on targeting pro-life religious institutions. Catholic churches and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CdMu65yroV0\/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=\">pregnancy centers<\/a> were <a href=\"https:\/\/denver.cbslocal.com\/2022\/05\/04\/sacred-heart-mary-catholic-church-boulder-vandalism\/\">vandalized<\/a>\u00a0with pro-abortion graffiti. <\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"instagram-media\" data-instgrm-captioned=\"\" data-instgrm-permalink=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CdMu65yroV0\/?utm_source=ig_embed&#038;utm_campaign=loading\" data-instgrm-version=\"14\"><\/blockquote>\n<p>While he was <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/05\/03\/five-times-democrats-insisted-the-supreme-court-must-be-obeyed-without-question\/\">quick to threaten<\/a> to reject the court\u2019s \u201ccontinued attack on abortion and reproductive rights,\u201d the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/politics\/biden-catholic-bishops\/2021\/06\/18\/acf576c0-d04a-11eb-a7f1-52b8870bef7c_story.html\">\u201cdeeply Catholic\u201d<\/a> President Joe Biden has yet to personally and publicly denounce the political violence perpetrated by his supporters.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to refusing to condemn the SCOTUS leak or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/supreme-court\/supreme-court-proceed-roe-leak-probe-rcna27508\">investigate it as a crime<\/a>, the Biden administration did not even acknowledge the attacks until Fox News\u2019s Peter Doocy demanded comment from White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki last week. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cDo you think that progressive activists that are now planning protests outside some of the justices\u2019 houses are extreme?\u201d he asked during a White House press briefing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPeaceful protest? No, peaceful protest is not extreme,\u201d Psaki <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/05\/05\/psaki-wont-condemn-scotus-leak-of-draft-ruling-on-roe-v-wade\/\">replied<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The pair volleyed back and forth about the dangers associated with organized intimidation of SCOTUS justices before Psaki admitted that \u201cThe president\u2019s view is that there\u2019s a lot of passion, a lot of fear, a lot of sadness from many, many people across this country about what they saw in that leaked document.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe obviously want people\u2019s privacy to be respected. We want people to protest peacefully if they want to protest. That is certainly what the president\u2019s view would be,\u201d she said. \u201cBut I think we shouldn\u2019t lose the point here. The reason people are protesting is because women across the country are worried about their fundamental rights that had been law for 50 years \u2014 their rights to make choices about their own bodies and their own health care \u2014 are at risk. That\u2019s why people are protesting. They\u2019re unhappy. They\u2019re scared.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Days after the violence and destruction, however, Psaki reversed course and issued a statement condemning \u201cviolence, threats, or vandalism\u201d on Twitter. <\/p>\n<p>\u201c.<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/POTUS\">@POTUS<\/a> strongly believes in the Constitutional right to protest. But that should never include violence, threats, or vandalism.
