When the mob is right, some (but not all) more aggressive tactics are justified. He seemed to have such strength of conviction. \ud83e\udd14 <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/TdgkpocbEF\">https:\/\/t.co\/TdgkpocbEF<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/JQo1dYrCem\">pic.twitter.com\/JQo1dYrCem<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Tripp Whitbeck (@trippwhitbeck) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/trippwhitbeck\/status\/1523514897023528961?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 9, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>As <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/white-house-condemns-violence-threats-or-vandalism-amid-protests-at-homes-of-supreme-court-justices-and-pro-life-centers\">The Daily Wire<\/a> reported on Monday, \u201cOver the weekend, pro-abortion rights activists marched to the homes of Supreme Court Justices John Roberts and Brett Kavanaugh.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBearing signs and chanting slogans, the group marched from Justice Brett Kavanaugh\u2019s house in Chevy Chase, Maryland, to Chief Justice John Roberts\u2019 residence about a half mile away,\u201d Bloomberg reported. \u201cThe protesters then returned to Kavanaugh\u2019s before police ordered them to disperse.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">These are pro-abortion activists outside of Judge Kavanaugh\u2019s home. <\/p>\n<p>This is crossing the line and unacceptable. <\/p>\n<p>This type of intimidation and harassment has no place in America. <\/p>\n<p>Stay strong, Judge Kavanaugh. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/fpWMkrBSE0\">pic.twitter.com\/fpWMkrBSE0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Rep Andy Biggs (@RepAndyBiggsAZ) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepAndyBiggsAZ\/status\/1523380622248476672?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">May 8, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Douglas Blair, a news editor for The Daily Signal,\u00a0witnessed the protests at Kavanaugh\u2019s home over the weekend. He told <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/media\/justice-kavanaugh-home-protests-abortion-roe-wade-blair\">Fox &#038; Friends<\/a> on Monday, \u201cThis is an attempt at intimidation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI did not see Justice Kavanaugh,\u201d he added. \u201cMy hope is that he wasn\u2019t home. My hope is that he was safe with his family somewhere else because it was genuinely one of the scariest things I\u2019ve ever witnessed. Watching these people yell and scream and try and change the vote of what is most possibly the most important vote in the history of this country: the right to live your life and to have a human being survive in the womb.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A local resident who helped organize the protest told Bloomberg, \u201cThe time for civility is over, man. Being polite doesn\u2019t get you anywhere.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki refused to condemn any incipient protests at justices\u2019 homes, saying, \u201cI don\u2019t have an official U.S. government position on where people protest. We want it, of course, to be peaceful.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But after the protests, Psaki suddenly expressed concern, tweeting that President Biden \u201cstrongly believes in the Constitutional right to protest. But that should never include violence, threats, or vandalism. Judges perform an incredibly important function in our society, and they must be able to do their jobs without concern for their personal safety.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">.<a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/POTUS?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@POTUS<\/a> strongly believes in the Constitutional right to protest.
