She appeared most recently in media like Marry Me, and the TV series Mira, Royal Detective. <\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>Jamil has previously called Elon Musk\u2019s purchase of Twitter an act of hate.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>\u201cI fear this free speech bid is going to help this hell platform reach its final form of totally lawless hate, bigotry, and misogyny. Best of luck,\u201d she posted.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>She has since left the platform but continues to use Instagram.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>When Texas passed its Heartbeat Bill in fall 2021, Jamil said she views the law with \u201cdisgust.\u201d She also said an abortion procedure \u201csaved her life.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-f313b7e6=\"\">\n<p>\u201cI had not a minute of regret,\u201d she posted. \u201cI only felt deep relief and gratitude that I lived in a country that made abortion accessible and safe. Nobody made me feel bad for being there. They just gave me HEALTHCARE.
